We finally get to camp at Angle Tarn , something we were kean to do as we'd enjoyed so many KZfaq videos taken there. We weren't disappointed that's for sure!

It is bearable (just barely) and I can stand and walk with pain but no uneven ground or it will leave me stranded some where.. 🙁

‘What the Fox was that?” Said Marley. Great video both, we were up there last week in the usual 15minute Lakeland weather cycle of sun rain cloud rain sun. Camped at the Yha patterdale. Happy days. I can’t stay awake in a tent if it’s raining though, knocks me out like a light. ATB. Mark & Louise

Hi Austin and Lucy, I have wild camped at the exact same location many years ago and guess what I had my 24 hr rat pack dragged out of my porch area, and when I got up early for a leek, my found was scattered everywhere and the packets where punctured aswell, I always thought it was the sheep that did it.Great video brings back many memories of the lakes and all the exercises we did there, and the coast to coast.

Wonderful video. I've actually spent the last few hours re-watching some of your videos- classics they all are! Angle Tarn brings back memories of my epic walk in May 2009 from Patterdale to Troutbeck via Angle Tarn and the summit of High Street. I even made a diversion to bag Kidsty Pike! Starting at 9.30am I finally staggered into Troutbeck village at 8pm! Great memories, I couldn't do it now. And yes, you've guessed it, that epic walk is on my KZfaq channel. Keep on producing these fantastic, memorable videos.

Haha that fox had our scraps we put in a bin bag to take out with us in the morning. I had to follow the trail the morning after and tidy it all up. Bet it was the same one Austin. You said what do they eat when you guys aren’t there, they just wait for the next unsuspecting victim haha. Great video guys. Cheers, Ant.

In May I went to my favourite campsite hoping to put my tent up. It's Oakhead near Windermere & i'd been going there for nearly 20 years, but was so disappointed to find the owner only now accepts caravans. I was devastated. It had wonderful views. I was sent about a mile away to a site called Greaves farm. Views are also nice & I think it'll grow on me, but I might try out the Ullswater farm one. Looks lovely. Happy anniversary btw and ATB to you both.

Thank you. It’s a shame when that happens as it’s great to have a familiar base to go to . Just keep in mind that level pitches are hard to find on Side Farm but apart from that it’s spot on 👍.

I'm here in Virginia, US, and there are a lot of Foxes here, so beautiful, gotta love em', even though they can be a pest sometimes. ty for your beautiful scenic camera shots. atb Hugs to Marley.

Hi Candice . You can’t help admire them for their bravery. We’ve had a family with 4 cubs under our shed the last 2 years and we keep chickens 😳😬. The neighbour feeds them so they are in beautiful condition and look stunning . Marley says woof 🐶.

There was a Den a little ways from my yard, with a family, and I was feeding them dog food, they loved it, havn't seen them in awhile, but I think they are still around. Cheers

Thanks guys. Hope you are both well . It was a great week and with Marley. He’s coming with us to Portugal in the van in September so we’re looking forward to that. Off to Snowdonia at the weekend but Marley is sitting this one out as we’re hoping to take some friends over Crib Goch. The weather does not look good at the moment though so we’ll see, it could be a washout 🤞. Take care . A+L.

Grib Goch, wonderful place, only done it once when I was 19 and I won{'t be doing it again, do your friends know what they are loosing themselves into ?, I froze half way and had to be coaxed the other half as my bum was firmly seated on a rock and it didn't want to budge, Portugal sounds like good fun

Walked down that path many times and I bet you were pleased you never met anything coming the other way to Side farm. Happy Anniversary and I bet someone was in the bad books lol! The Lanshan seems to becoming a very popular tent but same it let that fox in sealing Marley's food. Always got fond memories of the Angel Tarn, as that was my very first wildcamp and been there so many times, such a great walk up there, cheers Alan

Cheers Alan .Oh yes , there really is nowhere to pass on that track. The Lanshans are brilliant for the money but they are a summer only tent but you’d think we would have learned our lesson with the raised fly and foxes 🙄 . We were glad to finally camp there and loved it and it’s not too hard a walk from Side Farm 👍. Cheers.

I love your videos!! I love the Eastern Fells of the lakes and have camped at Side Farm many times. Wiltshire Man wild camped at Angle Tarn on his Coast to Coast on KZfaq. Happy Anniversary both

Hi there and thank you 👍. It’s funny how many people comment on the lack of trees. It’s part of what makes our mountains feel a lot higher than they are I think . It really is such a harsh environment on the moors and fells that no trees can take it really . If one does pop up it won’t be long before the wind gets it ! We’d absolutely love to hike in Canada, maybe next year for my 50th 🤞. Cheers.

It certainly ate well that night. Someone else commented it had nicked their rubbish bag the week before. It’s probably the only 5 stone fox around lol.

Nice footage ,great location. Any issues with the Lanshan 2 tents ?? I bet Marley. was glad to see the camper van and get a nose bag going.. I am guessing his name was influenced by his owners taste in music... ?? Great content keep em coming...

Thank you 👍. The Lanshans are great for the money . The main thing that annoys me is the door fasteners are a bit fiddly and the inner doors are offset rather than just two large ones but for the money and as a summer tent it’s hard to beat 👍. Yes , Marley was named after the great man himself but that film came out the next year so half of folk think he’s named after that 🙄.

Hi Toby , we do share the Quasar in the winter due to the weight but it’s the extra room we like and you’d be amazed how much room Marley can take up! The tarp is plenty big enough for all 3 of us so we use that fairly often in the summer as well , Cheers.
