Ridley Scott's The last duel, Roshomon styled movie starring Matt Damon, Adam Driver, and Jodie Comer gained Oscar nominations.
Really an amazingly told harrowing story! The three different perspectives of the husband, the rapist, and Marguerite were genius, especially when we saw the same scene again but from an alternative view. There was nuance, but ultimately the audience knows what the factual truth is, which is really important. All of the actors were amazing. Adam Driver really disappeared into his role, watch the edit to witness it yourself.

Jacques le Gris was a despicable character...but somehow I felt sorry about how he ended.

it took me a while to accept Damon as a medevil knight ,but the movie turned out much better than i anticipated.

3:14 That howling siren in the soundtrack is so haunting. The cold touch of it lingered in my mind long after the film was over.

This was a good movie. Not perfect, but very good. I was impressed by Ben Affleck. It also reveals how cold & callous life during those times could be. They stripped Adam Driver's character like coyotes devouring a carcass & strung him up immediately. That's brutal.

I think he is a good actor, something refreshing tbh, theatrical and quite dramatic, maybe it can seem it is too forced or overdramatic, i think it's that it is a period piece of movie that gives it more panage (penash?), however it is spelled lol

If what you mean is his "character", yes, he is playing a horrid character, but the act is good
