Sorry, problems with the audio whereby sound is available only from one speaker and is very low. Whoever uploaded this failed to properly adjust the audio outputs, especially in view of the fact that some listeners may be using a single earpiece or just one speaker to listen to such online nonmusical audios, therefore the audio on this lecture is not balanced well.

let’s say I am dribbling my soccer ball in a public park and then somebody else comes along and we start kicking it around together. A few minutes later a third person shows up and asks to buy the ball for $50. The second person who is holding the ball at the time claims that he is the rightful owner and he will sell it for the $50. The first person says it is his ball which it is but has no way to prove it. If possession is the only evidence then how do we prevent people from taking others property in the situation?

Evidence. The man claiming to own your soccer ball is creating a tort, call police, gather witnesses. Basically fraud idk legal term.

@51:00 , I keep reciepts, even when I go to the grocery store. Why? May be this goes back to this particular prof's lecture of LSAT and African Americans. I want to be ready to PROVE I purchased the item(s). Since, all I get is glares when I enter and leave stores, and security following me around.

Around 34:00, I think the an imprtant overlooked fact is that Delamirie separated the jewel from the ring. It minimizes that argument with that idea Delamirie wanted to get it to the rightful owner.

He did it for the purpose of weighing the jewel for appraisal. Idk how the smithy's intentions affect the judgement if the ultimate is returning it to the owner going by the first finder criterion

Once the Goldsmith made an offer for the jewel, he at that moment can no longer make the argument that he was trying to hold unto the ring for the true owner. After all, if the sweep had accepted the offer wouldn't the Smith then claim ownership?

On Professor Alex Johnson's video on African-Americans, Law Schools and the LSAT, I can say that African Americans do not score higher because of statistics telling them the don't score higher.

this is not a basic property lecture. it MAY be intellectual property, but there is so little context as to make it completely useless.

Reality often doesn't live up to expectations. I think 40-45% of the weight in rating law schools is based on entrenched reputation and 12.5% of the rating is based on how competitive the applicants are (which is also driven by entrenched reputation in part). So somewhere between 52.5-57.5% of what drives these schools to be top in the nation is the fact that they are old and prestigious schools. So, for that reason, rank often doesn't equate to the best education or the smartest and most experienced professors.
