We had a lot of fun watching Doug play in the CFL! He came along soon after Warren Moon left us for his shot at NFL (where he had previously been 'too black' to play QB!? - Moon remains the only black QB in the NFL Hall of Fame? That's crazy.) At any rate, this Canadian CFL fan is always happy to watch the NFL 'oversights' play great football in the 3-Down game.

I was happy when Flutie came to the Bears. I don't care what anyone says, Flutie was a great college quarterback and a very good NFL quarterback.

Ditka was smart to bring Flutie in and made a huge mistake in developing him. He should have been groomed as a starter over a few years. Threw him into the fire too early. As you can see from these highlights he showed promise immediately. Especially the Dallas game

Sometimes they do but he's a legit 5'10" if you look at his proportions.

Mike Ditka is such a joke. instead of developing Doug Flutie, he decided to go with Mike Tomack and Jim Harbaugh, who turned out to be one of the worst quarterbacks ever in bears history

I never knew how much good tape flutie put out for the bears. How could these nfl Yahoos not see the star potential
