At 8:40, you mention there is no volume control on the steering wheel, but there is, it's on the left side of the wheel. You even run your fingers over it.

Your review is so off. There's vol control on the steering wheel, you can also turn off the green indicator, you clearly know nothing about the car

I was looking to trade in my 2013 Taurus SHO in October and sprung for a 2016 Accord Coupe Touring V6. Wanted to get back to an NA engine and have reliability. The Accord ticked the boxes less the AWD. I love the car and that J engine sounds brilliant. Also as a few have pointed out there is volume on the left hand side of the steering wheel. You can turn off the Green Eco lights too I believe

Actually the green lit speedometer ring can be disabled through the settings. It sounds to me just just hopped in the car and started a review on it without knowing anything about it. You say it's too big inside for you but say ur about to get a truck...

I love my ex-l v6 2014. Quite similar. I know many would want it to be more intuitive but you can turn off the green gas mileage sensitive color rings around the Speedo in the custom settings.

By the way, you can turn that green light off. It's in the settings. lol

I went with the 2017 Sport/Orchid White/K24/6SPD, because I needed 4 doors, and a "MANUAL". the new 2018 Accord isn't for me, great review! Also the $21K was a good deal.

My 2013 EX-L V6 Coupe has the things you complain the 2017 doesn’t have. Coupe FTW! I have a volume knob and it’s on my steering wheel. I get up to 36 or more mpg on the highway and got 41.9 on a 129 mile road trip there and back recently. I have the dark steel metallic color. It’s the best Honda I’ve owned and I’ve had too many to list, including 99 Civic Si and 01 Lude SH.

@ 9:50 you can turn off this technology simply by holding the right side of the right button on the steering wheel. This takes you to regular cruise control mode and bypasses the ACC.

You have the volume control on the left side of the steering

Just get a used 1/2 ton. For the most part you can't kill them and they are easy to fix. Later on like you said get the truck you really want. Will out tow any Tacoma anyways.

Aloha! Lol That engine! It didn't register until way later that this was a 2017 Accord, which is a great car, especially with the V6... But overall, I like the 2018 better. You're right about the chrome on the Touring, which goes the same for the Civics, and sport performance oriented cars in general. I would opt for the Sport for either year Accord, with the 2.0T of course,on the 2018, with the automatic, out of preference. The Sport Model visual trim on the Honda Fit, Civic Hatchback and Accord is done right. The Civic Si as well, albeit with more chrome or bright treatments. No excuse for the lack of the analog, physical volume knob on any of the radios that lack it. I'm a technoid, but certain things, I still what physical, mechanical control. I prefer a good mix of Analog and digital display, but analog on at least the speedo and tach, with the digital speedo readout easy to see. The seats could have more bolstering, at least for Sport and touring models. The Accord is a family sedan, even more than a Civic, but so are the Euro and other sport oriented sedans, so it doesn't mean it can't have more bolstering. I hear you about the interior. I like the roominess, but coziness of my Cruze RS, and the new Honda Civic. Since downsizing, I prefer that smaller sized cars now for a primary daily driver, but still miss the bigger cars I had. My 2006 black Impala SS with Flowmaster mufflers had the sporty black trim, like my '84 Buick GN, the 5.3L V8 and a deep low exhaust tone that draws attention, but not annoyingly noisy. But when I got into a new generation Impala that is basically the same size, I felt dwarfed in the interior. It seems so much bigger. My first choice for a full size sedan would be that 2018 Buick Regal GS which literally checks every single box on my list, except the price. Lol. But the Accord Sport 2.0T Auto would probably be #2. The Kia Stinger is nice, but I probably would not like it as much as the Regal GS. Other larger cars would be either that latest Impala Midnight Edition Premier or LT with all the options except the sunroof, or the Malibu Redline Edition in black, though for some reason, you cannot get it in the Premier, or with the 2.0L Turbo. All show, and less go. You can get a loaded Cruze hatchback RS Redline Edition for the same price with factory performance brake, suspension and exhaust options. But, the Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback with the aftermarket goodies would probably be my choice for the same price. But the Base Civic Sport with my previously mentioned add ons still has the affordability and charm, even without the remote and push button start, and keyless entry, etc., though the remote start is an option I could get later. It has more of that more in touch with performance feel and vibe you mentioned. It would still probably be my first choice for a new car that would be affordable for me, but the Fit Sport would be a consideration with all the utility it has. Now, if they could just could just add the Civic Sport Turbo version of that engine with the HFP package... Overall, another great review... Be safe, happy, healthy, warm, cozy, and powered up!

My 2015 exl v6 orchid white, black n tan leather interior is a dream car. I love it. The sound of that motor is incomparable to anything in its class and above even. Gobs of torque and great pulling power. I'll never get rid of it. Shame on you honda.
