They found MFH {max fuchs} para beret which you can buy in some military surplus stores. We have them in Serbia, so it's pretty accessible and it could be get by anyone.

thomas i have a question for you .. when you were a llegionaire did you ever think about the fact that you could be sent to fight germans?? when i was sent to germany a few months after i was stationed there one day it occured to me that i could end up fighting my own cousins.. my family both fathers side and mothers side were from france and many generations ago came to first canada and then they moved to the united states several generations ago so anyway i have relatives who i dont kno in france and i had the thought that it is possible that i could end up fighting my own relatives. what would i do?? well it only took a short time and my answer was clear i would never change who i am meaning im an american fighting man even today 40 years later i am still an american fighting man though ive been retired from military for 32 years now . i would fight them the exact same as anyone else.. after all how could i call myself a leader if i want to duck my duty. no way for me it was imperative that my loyalty to the united states is without question and that is why my men would follow me into hell and back.. but it is a question i wonder if many legionaires have thought about?? did you think about it??
