I think it’s awesome that there is a place a man can go and be himself again and be disciplined. A lot of these guys didn’t make a bunch of bad decisions in their military. Some just made one wrong choice and lose everything. At least they get a piece of that back being able to join the FFL.

Its true, I was in the mountain infantry in Switzerland and I had a parachute license, so even if I wasnt in the best 3. They sent me to the 2nd rep. So look that you got at least already a parachute license and endurance, tge rest is in the head. Just if your'e one of the last forget it. You need a lot of endurance and sometimes a f.... stubborn mind. But never, never, never, forget the team. Help each one, even if you dont like him, this will change. At the end, your life depends on all others.You're all together ONE, dont fight agajnst each other, this is the most stupid thing. Accept if you're not the best and respect the best. The team can just survive without weakness. Its like a chain. Good luck. By the way, the rank you had before in your Military, doesnt matter. Dont think I was an officer, now its gonna easy for me. You wil not even pass the first 3 weeks.

Joined and got accepted. Ended up changing my mind and asking to be released before the 6 month grace period where your contract would lock in. Still one of the most solid experiences I've had in my life, all thanks to a friends curiosity in high school about the legion.

They aren’t ready for death or ready to die for their new family, they signed a contract that they chose to, and they are warriors who are no longer fighting the war their own country was or are no longer in a position to fight in combat and it shouldn’t be that surprising that there are thousands of men willing to go into combat on purpose and put their life’s on the line fighting, that is completely different than accepting death as if it’s a certain fate.
