I have lenovo y700 using it for gaming kick ass so good laptop my specs are i5 6300hq 16gb ram r9 m375 4gb and m2 ssd

I'm so jealous. That's functional, and still looks awesome. I bought a Linux laptop and it went to the crapper. The motherboard died. So mad cause it cost me 2000 dollars new, and it died almost instantly after the warranty ran out 2 yr mark. Laptop76 wanted me to pay them 158 just to ship it to them. Not including replacing motherboard, or fixing anything. So sad when people would rather scam others. They say they're a Linux laptop brand.

Got the 14 inch version of this and completely regret my decision. Love the size but the nvidia gpu would have been wonderful.

Hi ! I have my Y700 too, same as ur laptop, and Its kind of weird, I upgraded it to 16gb ram with 3200hmz, and now I still stay on 2133hmz, is it possible to make it 3200 hmz? Have you change it yours too? to 3200 hmz 16 gb ram?

the maximum ram frequency the processor supports is 2133 mhz irrespective of whatever frequency of ram you put into your system. If you check your task manager, the 3200 mhz ram that you installed will default to 2133 mhz. This is because the skylake architecture does not support higher ram frequencies. Hope this helps
