0:39 - As a Navajo with Apache friends, the Apaches DO NOT dress like that. All tribes dress differently. Not all tribes dress like northern tribes.

I agree, that form of clothing comes from Great Plains tribes such as the Plains Apache or Sioux

Jicarilla Apache and Navajo Warriors were very good allies, but we were often separate from each other as Apaches were more Mobile than Navajos

Like the content but thrown off by the gap between episodes and the narrator. I can't tell if it's AI or if it's just a disaffected narrator with weird pronunciation? Still the most honest info on the Tube though.

Great video and your channel has good content! I have a question and I ask this with the utmost respect. Do Native Americans/indigenous people of America embrace native/indigenous Americans who are mixed with African American? I ask because it seems like they only acknowledge those mixed with Europeans.

@@thegamechangermenoken3123 . You're welcome. When you say embrace I feel that you mean accept..though embrace is a type of acceptance..in any case..again..some yes and some no..I would say most do accept and acknowledge though many are on guard with people who want to be recognized as a member in any card carrying way since benefits are involved and some people look to leech off of them.

@@creaturecaldwell9858 when I say embrace I mean except you are correct. My Great great grandfather was Mandan and my great great grandmother was Mandan and Hidatsa. They were originally from Bismarck North Dakota. My grandfather and father told us how our family members was slaughtered in the middle of the night for land. A small number of them escaped and fled to Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Dutch took them in. My grandfather had children with my grandmother who was Cherokee and African-American. My father married my mother who was African-American and from that union came me, my brother and my sister. We have written text of what occurred that night in North Dakota that has been handed down to generation to generation but it’s hard to find information on line.. it’s like most of my families history has been erased from the records. Before my grandfather passed he told us not to talk about it because he was afraid something might happen to us (he was born in the early 1900s) my father was born in 1934 and the things they experienced was way different back then. They wanted us to know where we came from but not to share it with others. My freshman year in college my history teacher recognized my last name and knew more about me then I did at the time. Just wanted to give insight on my original question.

One more thing… not looking to leach or gain any benefits other then my children being proud of being represented in history and knowing that they have a beautiful rich culture. I have my MS from Notre Dame and my wife as well from Temple University… we had to work hard for everything we have. Regardless of your race everyone should be aware of those trying to impersonate someone that they’re not in order to benefit from anyone who has been disenfranchised.
