Hiruzen Sarutobi was the Third Hokage of Konohagakure. A disciple of the village's two previous Hokage, Hiruzen was a powerful ninja, hailed as a "God of Shinobi". Though he was only ever directly the teacher of the Sannin, generations of Konoha shinobi benefited from his wisdom during his lifetime.

The 2nd trained the 3rd, the 4th trained the 6th and the father of 7th as well as trained by the 3rds student, the 5th was trained by the 3rd and granddaughter of the 1st, 6th was trained by 4th and trained the 7th and 7th was trained by 6th and son of 4th

Then the council could overrule him and let danzo become hokage. At least he was the first person to be kind to Naruto. He couldn’t do much but he gave him an apartment and told him stories. He’s one of the most precious people to Naruto. Without him, Naruto’s childhood would be worse than it already was.

The ninjas protect the civilians. If the civilians disagree with something the council has to listen to them. The council has tons of power. U see how they agreed on the massacres of the uchihas but the third hokage didn’t. They overruled his vote. U could technically say that the council may have more power than the hokage. It’s been years since Naruto shippuden ended, so I don’t know if my info is correct but that all I know.

He was fucking 59 going into his sixties while looking after a VILLAGE that just got completely ruined by a demon fox and you want him to look after naruto 24/7 he saved orphans from assassins look at ep 180 in boruto he was traveling through villages and nations, and + if naruto wasn’t “protected” he would have been dead the minute people found out the nine tails was in him but he wasn’t because he was under protection of quite possibly the strongest hokage excluding naruto. And the reason he went emo is because the nine tails was in him, not because of the third tf quit gaslighting. Iruka hated naruto so much that hiruzen had to confront him and when he did iruka suddenly liked naruto.

Hiruzen is an underrated character, it would have been so cool to get an appropriate powerscale of him in his prime. Maybe a flashback or a villain shitting himself at the name of Hiruzen would have really gave him a glimpse of his true power. The only other person to receive the name "God of Shinobi" was the first, and that's about the most we get :/

The third has been stated many times in the lore and data books that he is the strongest Hokage (not including naruto of course) think about it he mastered all five elements yin and yang release, he mastered every jutsu in konoha (not the clan-only abilities, tho he knows about them) he passed tobirama in skill and talent from childhood, the fact that orochimaru had to wait until hiruzen was 69 should leave you to think about how strong he was, he almost killed orochimaru even with the 1st and 2nd at his side, IF hashriama can create a Big Buddha statue with 1,000 arms then imagine how strong a prime hiruzen could be.

When he was young, he was so powerfull that he was compared to Hashirama, one of his masters. When he got old and weaker he still got his knowledge and some great students. So in his Prime he was Second god of Shino. In his old age he was known as professor

Prime hiruzen so underrated. It's clear from what's said that he was they second strongest behind Hashirama, maybe third including Minato. Tobirama hiruzen and Minato are close in power but I give Minato an edge while giving hiruzen a boost for his reputation being greater than tobiramas. with Edo prime tobirama shown to be extremely powerful, the fact hiruzen is held in higher regard tells you he surpassed him. He also trained the sannin. Minato also had a legacy that surpassed tobirama and he perfected tobiramas jutsu and improved it as well as created his own justsu

There's no line above the O. Also, he's anything BUT the wisest. He left Naruto with spoiled milk, and only went to visit to give him Instant Ramen as his only meal every other Thursday. He could've left Naruto with Jiraiya, and atleast he would've been able to summon a CLONE. Not even a Shadow Clone, a CLONE.

Hiruzen is one of the kindest pure hearted and strongest ninja to have ever lived I love his character every flashback he has the most impactful speeches he loved his village and viewed it as one big family rest in peace he reminds me so much of our elders in real life for all the haters don’t forgot he’s lived thru all 3 major wars and has seen plenty of death to still stay true to his self and his teachers/teachings showed how strong he is and carries that will of fire even in death he still choose to see orochimaru for who he truly is which I know ultimately led to him changing his ways I can go on about the legendary sarutobi sensei
