Kabuto Yakushi spent most of his life as a spy working for many different individuals, organisations, and countries during his life. His natural talents in intelligence-gathering and medicine attracted the attention of Orochimaru when he was younger, who made Kabuto his right-hand man. Although Kabuto learns much about the world under Orochimaru, he eventually decides that his life of serving others has prevented him from making an identity for himself. He thereafter seeks power and becomes a major factor in the Fourth Shinobi World War, using his higher place in the world so that he can find where in it he belongs. After finally finding himself in the world, Kabuto returns to Konohagakure to run the orphanage there, helping others such as himself to find their own way.

Kabuto is literally so interesting. He’s not OP for main character reasons, or blood limit reason, he’s literally just smart, especially in science and medicine, and that’s where he’s able to increase his powers to be able to be able to fight and survive against all these OP people. I’m glad he stayed alive and got to run the orphanage, fuck Danzo

Kabuto has always been one of my favorite antagonists in the series. I like how he was presented and the fact that he's not much older than Naruto but was on par with Kakashi as a teenager was kinda cool. I like how he got a redemption arc as well. Good storytelling.

Agreed, he is one of the most underrated characters in Naruto, he’s a good villain for how despicable he is and throughout the war arc, he gets a theme of his own we hardly see in all entertainment and fiction

Naruto was 12,13 yo at the chunin exam. Kabuto had been taking this exam 7 times so he shoulb be around 19,20yo which we can call a mature man.

@@NamTran-bq3tc Kakashi specifically refers to him as a"kid" meaning he was either a teenager or a really young adult. Kakashi could have called him a kid because he's older but at the start of the series Kakashi couldn't have even been 30 yet. I doubt someone in their 20s would refer to a 20 year old as a kid.

I just checked their ages. Kabuto is actually 19-20 and Kakashi is 26-27 in part 1. Kakashi can call Kabuto a kid but that doesn't change the truth that he is an adult, a full-fledged shinobi based on his abilities at that time.

Kabuto always seemed like he’d never get that strong, but ended up getting pretty absurdly strong. It took some hidden and super op uchiha ability that cost the whole eye from Itachi, one of the strongest uchiha all time, to defeat kabuto. And that’s without considering what kabuto could have done in a vacuum. Using edo tensei summons for the fight would have made it impossible for sasuke and edo Itachi to win

Great video on Kabuto! When learning his history when it comes to which side he is on, his involvement with Orochimaru, as well as his medical expertise, I began to wonder if Kabuto was ever the inspiration for Knockout from Transformers Prime since he was also known for his medical expertise, working with Starscream (who was voiced by Orochimaru's Steve Blum), and even his motives to join the "winning team". Also, when seeing him as the head of the orphanage during Boruto's time, I really hope that we will see more of him in the near future, even if he isn't as powerful as he use to be! Well I don't know about you, but what do you think?

@@Seasonal-Shadow_4674 Nope😂Absolutely not, but if you rewatch the fight between the uchiha brothers, Itachi actually had empathy for him because of how he felt and why he did the things he did, all because he was damaged from an early age
