A friend from my school days was the landlady of the The Lion Tavern seen in the documentary. Sadly in 1993 she was found dead in the upstairs accommodation, she had been murdered by her ex who went on the run taking their baby with him, thankfully the little boy was found unharmed in Scotland, and the scumbag was soon apprehended. RIP DJ

The book about him was brilliant, the fact that he was a scouser made the police's job of untangling his code almost impossible. I don't condone drugs, nor violence or any part of his business but he was a pretty clever bloke as it goes, shame he didn't go into something legal as I'm pretty sure he would've been successful.

Nobody it's a lost consignment, it happens. Warren has been out of jail 2 years now and never gave the 198m the courts wanted from him. I expect he is living it up in the sun.

The government should leave Curtis Warren alone now. He’s served his time and done his punishment. But their ego is still bruised because he outsmarted them for years and he also had the balls to do the extra bird rather than hand over £millions to them. The government are just cowardly bullies but they’ll never break him no matter what they do.

@Thetruth558 I agree with everything you say here especially after reading the list of charges, sent to crown court, from Liverpool magistrates, last week, regarding C.W. " failing to notify " . It's so obviously bitterness and bruised egos that can't let him be to get on and enjoy the few decades he has left . Poor decisions from authorities, imo .
