This video puts into perspective how crazy WoW as turned. I want what was featured in the WC3 cinematic where Medivh warns Terenas. A bunch of councilman and politicians arguing about simple orcs and zombies as threats. Not a cosmic death god who’s plan is so complicated and complex that blizzard can’t even figure it out.

I also noticed that while making this video, that while warcraft had a simple, consistent story from w1 to wrath, since the death of Arthas and the conclusion of that story, it's been very hit or miss

Exactly. Even the legion was somewhat grounded in WC3. However, Blizzard being Blizzard, they had to go and one up the original story telling and it failed spectacularly.
