Black Egyptians

Күн бұрын

I have been living in Kenya for nearly a year now and I was surprised to learn that my wife who is from the Luhya tribe and the Kikuyus are said to be descendants from Ancient Egypt. This was by way of the Great Bantu migration circa 2000 BC which saw a large group of people expand from a core base in Nigeria/Cameroon and spread across Central, Southern, and Southeast Africa. Here is an account of my experience and an analysis of the evidence I have uncovered.

Luhya is one of the Bantu tribes having settled in Western Kenya. They are very reserved people, very peaceful people. Yes it is true they migrated directly from Egypt alongside the Kikuyu people. Am a proud Luhyah myself.

WHAT YOU SAID IS TRUE..I AM A LUHYA MYSELF AND THE ORAL HISTORY PASSED DOWN BY OUR FOREFATHERS SAY WE CAME FROM A PLACE CALLED MISRI (EGYPT IN ARABIC) WE ARE TOLD THAT OUR ANCESTORS FOLLOWED THE NILE UP AND SETTLED IN WESTERN KENYA AND EASTERN UGANDA. THERE IS ACTUALLY A PHARAOH CALLED KAKAI NEFERIRKARE..THAT NAME KAKAI IS A COMMON NAME AMONG LUHYAS

Yes, when I was 8 years I heard a very old luhya village elder responding to a question as to where we came from. He affirmatively stated Misri.. an old person that cannot speak any other language other than Luhya (nyore dialect).

I was born in the USA. After genealogical testing, I've learned that my lineage is from the Luhya tribe / people native to western Kenya. I've scheduled an upcoming trip to Nairobi, Kenya. However, the Luhya tribe is divided into 20 culturally and linguistically related tribes. My lineage cannot be traced more specific. Any suggestions for when I visit Nairobi and travel to Kisume in western Kenya to visit ethnic groups of Luhya descent. Any suggestions? Do you feel I will be welcomed.

@@vanyoike2384 -Thank you- I plan to visit Kakamega during my visit. It is advised that I learn the Luhya brief history at the Nairobi Museum before embarking on my journey to smaller museum location in western Kenya. My plan is to arrive in Nairobi and travel to Kakamega. I originally planned to visit Mombasa, but, Kakamega is in the opposite direction. Thank you again for your input.

Facts. The idea that bantus migrated from West Africa is a European deception to cut us off from our Nile Valley/North East Africa roots. It's either the West Africa lie, or the Congo one. Congo was just one of our many dispersal points once we had come out of the Nile Valley, and not our point of origin either.

1000 genome project confirmed that Luhya and Yoruba are one and same people. But Luhya we have been intermarrying with different Eastern Africa people, so we might look different from how Yoruba look today.

@PopItMelanin It's 100% true. 1000 genome project connected the DNA world map and linked different people to their closest families. Yoruba and Luhyas are one by blood. And according to more other studies, Yoruba migrated from East Africa!! Now do your maths.

More like southern Nigeria in general. They just only took samples from Yoruba and Esan in the SW, but the SE has the same haplotypes (and probably Benin to Ghana and Cameroon too). I'm pretty sure I descend from Igbo based on DNA matches and location of oldest known paternal ancestor, but I got a Big Y from FTDNA and I have Luhya match on yFull. The root of my branch is Nigerian. The root matches say Yoruba and Esan based on samples taken. I think the Luhya left Nigeria like 1500 to 2000 years ago. The sister branch to mine has people in the Arabian Peninsula likely descendants of those taken in the Islamic Slave trade. If I do descend from the Luhya that's a pretty rare occurrence. I think only 1.4% of the those brought to the Americas were East African .

My Brother you are an Israelite as I am , our forefather came from Israel thru Egypt on their migration west as they fled from the Roman destruction of our homeland, my DNA consist of Esan, Luhya and Yoruba ,of which are the Kingdom of Juda in Nigeria and Benin as the colonizers came and named it the Slave Coast. This is where they took my forefathers from and put them into slavery in this land called America as it was fore told in Deuteronomy 28:68, we are the people of the Bible.

@@sharadawilliams6394 yes, the Bantu Israelites are on Facebook and ruled by a king. They know where all the Hebrew Israelites are in Alkebulan ( Africa ) and what tribe in Africa equals what Hebrew Israelite tribe. I sent them my DNA test results from CRI genetics who told me exactly what African tribes I am descended from in Africa. These are the lost tribes who went south when the Assyrians attacked the northern kingdom where 10 tribes were. I am NOT descended from the tribe of Judah like many African Americans think they are and the Luhya ( tribe of Asher ) are in Kenya. The Arabs caught and sold Israelites to Europeans in East Africa, so get tested at CRI genetics company. Be ready for a shock. My DNA is very international.
