!! amazing! visibly imposing pictures probably the last of bus 142 in its familiar surroundings of the wild. in fact, the bus has suffered more in the past few years, than in the 50 years of its undisturbed existence before.. The Bus 142 will maybe find a final destination at the Fairbank's Museum of the North..(for future generations?).. RIP Chris *Alexander Supertramp*.

Nothing "magic" about the bus. If it was, Chris would be alive today. In a round about way, it was the cause of his death because it gave him a false sense of security. The bus gave him a reason to linger until he was too weak make his way out of the wilderness. Instead, he was hoping in his final days that someone would save him before the inevitable happened. If it had not been there, he might have gone back to populated areas and not perished.
