So, episode 11. I just watched a shadowpuppet show where a child was split into four pieces. Then I watched the episode end with Q's Minor Mendings skill and his description that it feels like helping something remember what it used to be. That's just a coincidence, right?

It's defiantly not a coincidence. I think is the reason he is kind of the smart helpful sidekick in the quests and never the hero. He helps people find the broken/missing pieces of who they are and fixes them.

F D beautiful sentiment, though--as far as his magic is concerned--it's more tangible than that. As far as his character and personality and friendships...I want to agree, however he's so powerfully adept at feeling sorry for himself that he condemns people he cares about, largely for the sake of it rather than any useful or reasonable purpose. I'm not saying he can't and hasn't filled and supported others, I'm saying I find it difficult to award him that mantle because he's very inconsistent about it, at best. Magical repair of "small objects", on the other hand, that is very his, and it will very count.

Even though I've been a little discontent with the one problem at a time approach of the Fillory Imloved Fen, Tick and Josh teaming up! They are just such fun characters on their own and mashing them together? Just amazing!

So the Binder was part of a group of Librarians who were experimenting the magic of gods. However, they couldn't do so without risking the wrath of the Old Gods and shutting off magic in the universe like what happened at the end of Season 2. However, they learned about the monster and his sister, who were born with the powers of multiple gods and were unable to die so they could experiment them without fearing the Old Gods. They took the female sibling, who was the more dominant of the two, and split her into four parts and put them into four Librarians: Bacchus, Iris, Heka, and Aengus.

@@jenesaisquoi4361 see after that whole backstory/explanation, im still curious as to how the old/existing gods came to accept those four new gods as their own, and having godly... "duties/roles," seeing as they were originally librarians experimenting on gods. plus do they retain their memories as former librarians? cuz then for me that retroactively shapes the context of their interactions in past episodes with our main characters

@@totodialed Just speculating, but the gods don't seem to so much care about who gets into the pantheon. Especially the old gods. I mean, Julia was a magician given the seed of god magic and they didn't seem to bat an eye. As for who the twins were born to, surely their parents weren't big fans of the whole chop my baby up and incarcerate the other. Maybe they didn't know? Or...? That'd be interesting to find out.

I HAVE SOMETHING COMPLETELY SEPARATE TO SAY INVOLVING A FEW GUESSES & IDEAS: Now my first guess is that the female character (Julia) who still have some of her goddess powers but almost all are suppressed; I know that she enjoys being human because she is able to feel all of her emotions, and yet the Gods are sadly unable to feel all emotions like humans can. An so I am hoping she might be able to develop some type transformation process which gives her the ability to become a very powerful Demi-God, and there for as a Demi-God she would be able to stay connected with her mortal human side, and also to add to be able to keep her Goddess powers since she would become half Goddess. Now I am hoping that maybe a Fifth Season of (THE MAGICIANS) might be put into being created someday down the line that is if this Fourth Season is a success with all of the other fans watching it.

It was fun for me . Stuff happened but season one Q and Alice were pure cinnamon rolls and they were in love for real. People fall out of love thats all. U can't just pretend it was never a real thing. It went on for 2 seasons which is half the show itself. Q would do anything to save Alice and he did do his best. Just because feelings change doesnt make the past unimportant
