Been playing golf man since 4 literally and I am 21 now. I haven’t gotten a hole in one because I was so focused on not hitting it left or right lol. Tiger woods is skill to a certain point when it comes to hole in ones because his back spin is insane.

@@zigyparker7016 I meant the first time of the year, not the first time in my life lol. I've been playing for 2 1/2 years now. I have been hitting mid 80's on average. I shot a 73, my best, last year which isn't terrible for 2 years into it.

@@DannyCal I played yesterday and hit 102. Pretty strong driver, but being consistent with my irons is what is killing my score for the most part. What about you?

@@mimsy5750 ok so we are in the same boat! Right now my best game is my driver and worst part of my game is anything under 100 yards. Putting is coming around.

@@DannyCal yeah I think for irons and wedges with me it’s a combination of adjusting to hitting on weird lyes (chunking the ball) , learning your power with each individual club, and striking the ball with enough arch so it gets over the bunkers and sticks to the green. It’s easily the hardest, most technical sport I’ve ever played so that’s why I love it

@@mimsy5750 Im dealing with chunking a lot of shots as well. one of my issues is Im playing a handme down set of irons that have a mix of stiff and regular flex shafts. Maybe once I get a matching set that will help out. The difficulty is what keeps me coming back for more. Good Luck!

I've been golfing for over a decade and at some point played competitvely and still have never gotten a hole in one 😭

Yeah I've played on and off for almost 25 yrs (played competitively as a junior golfer and in HS, also a short time in college) and have just gotten back heavily into it the past couple years. Been less than an inch away one time, within a foot more than a few times, within 2.5 feet lots of times, inside of 5 ft. even more than that but it's so tough. It usually is lucky when people get one. Even the pros. Skill certainly helps but there are so many factors on every swing that could determine a perfect shot and a ton of ways to be able to hole out on that very same shot. It's insane. Hope we both drop one someday lol
