The making of my first fursuit :] I'm quite happy with the result, despite the flaws. The head ended up being much heavier than I anticipated, and the vision is practically non existent xD the hair also doesn't look quite right to me. But, oh well, this was my first attempt. I hope you guys enjoy this vid and I hope it gave you some motivation to try making your own fursuit! :D

I love stylized fursuits that dont have that generic fursuit head shape and look to it. You did a really good job on this, especially with the expression. I think it definitely beats the blank expression a lot of fursuits have. A lot of them have that sort of "I am smiling for the camera since someone is taking my picture" kind of facial expression

Thank you! Yeah I get what you're saying, I personally prefer very stylized fursuits too and I'm not a big fan of that "disney look". I'm currently in the process of making my second fursuit and I decided to try creating a more cute and "friendly" face, but I'm trying to still keep that stylized look as much as possible. I hope it looks good!

As a full time fursuit maker with 7 years of experience, I can completely say that for your first fursuit head this is absolutely amazing, it’s well patterned, 0 to no flaws, just incredible. ESPECIALLY if this is your first fursuit head that is unbelievable. +1 new sub

Omg thank you! He was quite hard to build actually, so many steps to make everything just as I wanted. I've already started making another fursuit of a character with a simpler design, this time using a foam base, I'll post the video here once she's done!

You have one of the most unique and awesome fursona designs!!! He turned out great! Do you plan on making a fullbody suit to go with? Also, what were the holes in the 3D printed mask for before you added the fur?

Thank you so much!! Maybe, but it's not something in my plans rn. A full padded fursuit of him would be really difficult for me to wear, I don't have much stamina and his head is already very heavy (the holes you see were my attempt at solving this problem by removing chunks of the plastic) :/

Cost wise, and mushy wise I’d make mine completely out of foam for washing convenience…but mostly mushy wise cause……mushy is mushy

Es tu primer fursuit? Y con molde 3d!!!! Mi primer fursuit fue horrible, me imagino que viste muchos tutoriales antes de hacerlo, yo hice fursuit durante un año, me quedaron feos Hasta el último entendí que debía de tener paciencia, que tomaba tiempo, debía de quedar liso y bien definida la base

Thank you! It's a fabric called "plush", it's similar to minky but more delicate. It's commonly used in plushies for small pets.

Next time use a realistic head base and sculpt the mask on top. You can also put some cameras in the eyes of the realistic head and you can check in them as you sculpt, it wont be exact but can really help out with blindspots. The holes on 3d masks are just to make it lighter and also saves material, ventilation is just plus. Good luck in your next mask!
