4 жыл бұрынFabian “Fabian” Hallsten isn’t your typical Siegehead. He wasn’t a prodigy in Source, CS:GO or Call of Duty. He didn’t grow up grinding deathmatch lobbies or rough-and-tumble rounds of Search and Destroy. Fabian wasn’t a fragger; he was a thinker. A strategist.
He took that foundation, and became the greatest mind in Rainbow Six Siege. He also became one of his game's biggest personalities and loudest mouths - sh*t talking all the way to the pinnacle of his esport.
This is his story.

People like him, and MacieJay really helped the game improved in terms of strategies while players like Beaulo forced people to improve their mechanical skills. It's really easy to spot the differences before these play styles being widely introduced.

Praise god emperor, no seriously I was graced with a 40+ minute conversation with Fabian at Si2020 and he is the single most humble and nice dude when the cameras are off. He’s the goat, can’t wait for his return to competitive.

I've known Fabian for years. He has always had that spoiled rich boy attitude and I don't believe that he has been humble once in his life. With that said it might not be a bad thing when competing. It might have given him the confidence he never had before.

LOL. If you watched joonas going up main stairs to go for the flank, Joonas didn't actually see the claymore as he was colourblind and Fabien died to it later in the round. Fabien was like, "Joonas did you not see the claymore?" and Joonas replied "No, I'm colourblind"

He does have a point on the scene being bland in terms of players. Like how many casual players know the names/plays/play styles of pros? I can only think of beaolu’s aim, pengu, fabain, and kantto who else. Games like league, or cs its a more entertaining scene. In cs casuals know so much of the pro scene. They can think of 5-10 pro players, highlights, iconic plays, certain play-styles. Like when you get a sick flick you think of kennys or simple. You jump through a smokes “Im stewie.” Whenever I play r6 I cant think of anything like that, besides beaulo really

siege is more tactical than csgo. there isnt as much room for that kinda stuff, and not many plays stand out. theres pengu's clutch, beaulo's ace on liquid, and everything joystick does but thats it.

@@RandoSando Yeah lmao, Fabian had better stats than his whole team. Going back to the 2019 SI he was probably runner up to the MVP behind Kanto and Kanto only won it because he had an amazing Grand Final, Fabian was THE best player until the final only Virtue, Wokka and Kanto came close really.

As a little bit of extra info. When they won theyre 2md invitational they removed jonas from the team and then plummeted. And a little while after also removed goga which put them down a lot.

G2 needs Fabian back, he is a good igl. The issue is that siege has moved away from strats to just sitting in ratty spots and good aim. He’s right about it being boring. I used to watch pro league occasionally and now I never watch it or even pay any attention to it. The meta of sitting on a drone or cams for 2 minutes just to do a utility dump gets old fast.

I disagree with this because g2 wasn’t a team full of the best 5 players. It was just the best team yknow. Pengu was the best player in the game and Fabian def the best igl. Kanto was the best fragger for a while but

I remember Penta coming back 0-2/3 it was so hype, back when Siege was at its peak with no shitty ops, gadgets, and a million strats. Acogs were there, spawn peeking was there, and I was diamond having the best gameplay of my life.

Personally, I think Fabian is the type of person to end up coaching and strategizing for a team without playing on it. Almost like his singleplayer games, he'll show up to an event with a team under his command, they will play with him in their ears, and he'll lead from behind the curtain

I remember the good old days of siege man, season 1 and 2. The pro league at the very start was so small and even had Xbox with Vitality winning it, Fabian and G2 were just unstoppable.
