hi guys! it's my first time making an animatic of this caliber and i somehow cranked it out in 3 days... the sulfur god lore is my absolute favorite part of termina i like black kalev so much......daan is okay i guess

huge props to the song selection!! you perfectly capitalized on the thematic significance of this song! absolutely brilliant work (and bonus points for using the Bowie version) and you used it super well to outline Daan's rather interesting religious experiences. never really thought about his connection to Black Kalev before this point but i absolutely ADORE this perspective

i saw this on twitter but i’m too. scared to rant about it there and so i want to talk about how cool this fucking video is here. i love the black kalev’s lore genuinely got super hyperfixated on it and i would love to discuss with people but i have no one to talk about it with but this captures him so, so well every feature of the characters is portrayed so so good here i also love that people (you are the person in question) are playing more on how interesting a dynamic daan and the black kalev could have considering the black kalev is affiliated with the sulfur god in some way and presumably knows about daan’s predisposure to suffering at the hands of the sulfur god. You’re artstyle is also genuinely just very beautiful on its own and I have a strong appreciate for how you draw. It’s very smooth and nice and I appreciate it a lot.

black kalev is one of my favorite characters in the game. the sulfur god and the lore attached to him has always intrigued me, and both daan and kalev being involved in that motivated me to make this! thank you for the kind words.

Despite the fact that Daan is my favorite character, I am then afraid to get into too deep thoughts regarding this incredible character. This animation is further proof of how far we are still from fully understanding Daan in the scheme of things. Who he is in it and why Miro hasn’t answered us yet... but now we can guess and get an equally interesting result. Thank you for your contribution to the universe of Fear and Hunger, this idea of doubt is one of the least discussed, but for this reason the most valuable. (The musical audio is slightly inappropriate for my subjective taste. I also don’t know English very well, so I write through a translator. )

I like Daan too but i think your opinion is too much biased. There is nothing in Daan that makes him complex to understand, once you read his full story you understand that he just happened to have a bad life while having a blank soul.

By now it's probably my favorite Termina animatic, seriously can't express how much I love it . I really like.. The atmosphere of it(?) And the song choice. After diving into funger lore I'm just becoming so happy when I see some details about lore and characters in general . And I just now noticed how almost everyone like Daan, can't blame them tho the lore behind him is really interesting! And with his B ending especially because oh well it feels depressing.. As for Black Kalev.. OMG?? He's literally my favorite character I'm so happy to see at least something about him, and I want to know more! Otherwise great animatic!!!
