The best part was at the end when the pilots told Mando to fix his own damn ship and left. Lol. They had some nice music drop at that moment too. I was like...YES! Finally the rebel pilots arent soo robotic and have some personality. It was a satisfying moment of many in this episode.

@@rugsamillion5904 True, but mandalorian is supposed to have some of those episodes. Mando is basically an oldschool a adventurer/western type character so the show shows his different adventures, with some of them have a overarching storyline (mostly later episodes)

They wrote/directed this episode in a lazy and insensitive manor. I thought it was really unnecessary. Like the drug out incoherent dialogue from the frog lady and the camera staying on her with that somber look in her eyes. And the baby being intelligent but not at all compassionate or considerate which is not like the usual writing in this show. Like even after he tells the baby to stay away from the eggs he keeps going back and eating them and I think it’s just messed up how they continued with that aspect of it. Like..you can’t make light of something like that when you’ve developed the episode how you have. It’s twisted and I’d say it’s one of my least favorite mando episodes to date.

THe X-wings. blast the big spider and the swarm, then when mando starts walking back through his ship, you can hear the X-wings land. I think they probably cut part of the scene, but then when he steps out, the blaster fire changes from X-wing guns to normal blasters.

THen when It drops on the ship and starts sucking on the glass, you can see it burned and missing that same tooth.

Yeah it was! i love the detail work on every thing, even the trancision of sound. No sloppy Kathleen Kennedy shit. They pay attention to everly detail and you have to keep your eyes amd ears attuned. Master craftmanship

I luv that these guys really appreciate this chapter and havnt complained one bit calling it "filler". I been hearing that from Star Wars Meg's channel and all these others, think im gonna leave those channels and just stick with the Joes from now on.

I wondered about this too lol! On 2nd watching I noted they show several scenes of him fixing the cockpit, both inside and out, after the x-wings fly off. No clear shot of the punctured holes being filled per se, but they do show him outside the cockpit, on the glass welding something. Glad they showed this though as it did make it more believable.

I'd be down. Not as a big part, but maybe they find a big egg, Mando recognizes it says "we need to leave. NOW."

Exactly, this series is leaps and bounds better than the last trilogy, which was all over the fuckin place.

People that dislike the Mandalorian because alnost every episode is "filler" don't understand that this is the point. It is basically just a collection of short stories, and thats why its great.

Yeh i luv this series, some awesome easter eggs, many ofwhich are worked nicely into the story, like the spiders this chapter and the krayt dragon before. The Mando is lightyears better than the Sequels.

They even said in the episode summary for episode 8 I think, that she had already learned it.

I'm pretty sure it's how it's meant, like she gathered some info for him. She even says "that's what you wanted" or something like that. But I think it could have been laid down better, it felt a bit wonky at the start of the scene.

A lot of Rebels and Dave Filoni stuff pulls from the old old McQuarrie concept art for the original trilogy. The spiders were actually supposed to appear in Empire Strikes back, and their whole deal was going to be that when they reached a certain age, those spiders would dig into the ground and become the trees on Dagobah. This was clearly changed so now they're more just spiders in general, but yeah. They make an appearance in the old 'Children of the Force' book series in the EU, where Anakin Solo (youngest of Leia and Han's children) and his friend Tahiri are Younglings training at Luke's Jedi Academy on Yavin IV and go one several adventures with a golden ball full of Force Ghosts and have an Eevee as a teacher. They end up seeing one of these spiders transform itself into a tree during their adventure to release all the Force Ghosts.

Maybe not those specific things but like subtle but important changes in the the environment as a result of it.
