The Many Faces of Desmond Miles - Assassin's Creed
Desmond has a face, but what if I say he has more than one, would you believe me?
Assassin's Creed is a game that then had a sequel, which then had another sequel and then another one. After billions of years, the sun died and everything else did also, except Ubisoft Quebec, they still make ac games on the barren planet of Earth.

It's so weird how Desmond is missing his lip scar in Revelations, not so much on Animus Island, but rather in the real world at the beginning and end of the game.

I think it was because they used the same character model for Desmond and Ezio for ac 2 and Brotherhood. Then for Revelations they were able to create different character models for each playable character. So I guess they were going to make Ezio the only one with a lip scar but then they decided to give Desmond one in AC3 after not giving him one in Revelations. One of the many things Ubisoft flip flop on

He was ponderous about the name Desmond which could just mean that he knows about him or that he's almost forgotten his own name after being in there so long. I hope it's that latter but the former is probably more likely.

Yeah, it's the same with the brotherhood clip, him saying subject 16. He has shifted through so much information since becoming the reader that it was funny hearing subject 16 again after so long

Maybe subject 16 has integrated his memory and became a part of Desmond like prophet from Crysis did with Alcatraz? Also subject 16 was supposed to be connected to ISU and Adam and Eve who were the first proto-assasins (children of gods and ancient humans). You can speculate a lot more, if you'd read developer notes in the "The Making of Assassin's Creed: 15th Anniversary" they reveal SOOOO much about the cut content and original concepts and plot of the games you won't believe it, it's basically like "Raising the bar" but for AC fans.

The first one is not Desmond, it's subject 16 (from revelations). Desmond in AC Valhalla is part of the gray which is a simulation that was made of the Esu, he got there after touching the pedestal in AC3. While Subject 16 in AC2 is him speaking to him through the animus, because subject 16's consciousness was already saved there. Honestly I always thought that what subject 16 did in revelations was saving Desmond to the animus, but The Gray and the Animus are no5 the same thing.
