Great interviewer. He asks such interesting questions and is clearly so passionate about movies and their making. I just find myself really enjoying every single interview he gives :P

Fox 5 is lucky to have McCarty, he is a true movie fan, it's refreshing, i'm sure actors and directors are glad to have these interwiews instead of the usual hype shitty things we see everywhere

I've been watching quite a few of Kevin McCarthy's interviews, and I have to say he is one of the best, and certainly one of the most genuinely enthusiastic, interviewers and film critics. He avoids hype and pandering while still being genuinely excited about films. Wonderful guy!

I am not really surprised by what Matt Damon is saying about Ridley Scott as a director and more importantly as a person. Ridley Scott is a Geordie, he's from good stock. It's not in the least bit surprising that he's happy to try and teach Matt some of tricks to directing a good movie. I am sure that Matt would learn plenty from RS just as he would have from Paul Greengrass while making the Bourne films.
