Know to deny before you die of being benign. Do not give willingly to one what they are ready to take from you unwillingly. Even though I've seen this story somewhere, seeing this now in this form, at an age where I can form critique of art, truly felt like a blessing in disguise. Thanks for the adaptation of the story

You might be drawing similarities between the myth/story of the Shah Jahan cutting off the hands of the workers who built the Taj Mahal. I guess you can consider this an expansion upon that, but with a bit of a different thematic undercurrent and commentary.

this feels like some demented Aesop's fable. it captures perfectly that feeling of hearing some story when you're young that's dark to teach a lesson, but you really don't know why. except, it has no core meaning. just tragedy. 10/10, stumbled across you initially from the shit clock video but this is genuinely profound art.
