Maybe the cat is a " calling card" of a higher power within the Matrix. The first time the cat was a warning to Neo that he was in danger. At the end of Resurrection, the cat was to show the Oricle that the "higher power" is watching and was involved in the outcome. What do you think?

I don't see why there wouldn't be a broader governing body of AI beyond the matrix control system and the machines directly involved in the matrix itself. Managing humans would be very single tracked for a bunch of smart AI machines to be their only concern when they have an entire earth and potentially space. Pretty sure this channel has gone over how there is lore of AI machine bases way before the matrix was even created, when humans were still in conflict with the machines and living in the real world. So if machine hierarchy existed before the matrix was created I would think the top AI's would have delegated other AI's to be in charge of the matrix. While the architect or Deus machina or w/e they're called may be powerful machines they're just the ones in charge of the matrix.

In Matrix Reloaded, Neo and The Oracle talked about programs hacking programs, and doing things they were not intended to being doing. Those were the superstitious entities such as ghosts, werewolves, angels, vampires, and the black cat falls into that category. They are "glitches" because of the exploits associated those programs. The Black Cat was probably a middleware responsible for hotfixes or live updates in the Matrix. The Analyst found an exploit in the black cat that would allow him to extend the duration of those "updates" to effectively control time, which makes him able to do any action before anyone in the Matrix can do anything. The new "bullet time". Now Neo and Trinity are in possession of the black cat exploit giving them the power for now.

Not necesarely "hell" - he literally attempted murder on character played by Rachel Welsh to let her understand whenever she want to live or die, cats may help to deal with depression, heal wounds

The cat is a simple low level out-of-band error correction. the cat inside the matrix is like an ndis connection to the out-of-band hardware/software running outside of the matrix. the cat glitching is a soft reset of that ndis adapter.

The deja vu cat has a collar and bell. In the earlier movies, that was not the case. The collar/bell denotes that the analyst has control of the cat, and can change things in the latest iteration of the matrix. At the end of the movie, now Neo/Trinity control the cat.

Love this video!!!! I would add also another famous cat: Schrödinger's cat. It's supposed to be a manifestation of both life and death at the same time. This leads me to think it must hide something or someone or some codes in the 4th movies. Based on this assumption Ying and Yang should mean the cat holds the Oracle and the Architect's code into a loop. Being unable to delete them as they are the kernel of the Matrix, with God mode privileges that was his only chance to block them. The cat also restored the Matrix and all lives inside it. Another moment is when we see the cat the first time, that time the cat bring death to the crew.

Schrödinger a cat isn’t a manifestation of life and death, it’s to show that until it is known, matter can be thought to exist in two different states. So I don’t think it’s anything to do with that. Also it’s just Yin, rather than Ying.

A dejavu in this reality can also mean a “buffering” between our sense receptors (eyes, ears, nose) and the brain. A dejavu feeling is more like “I already saw that” or “I knew what you were going to say”. It could be that our eyes/ears perceive something but it doesn’t register instantaneously in our brains. Once it does get processed, we feel that we’ve already experienced it….or maybe it’s just a glitch. 🤷🏻‍♂️

In real life, dejavu is simply knowing that you are exactly where you need to be in life. That's why when they occur , you have a feeling that you have been there exactly in that moment already.. It just a way of knowing there are no coincidences. Everything has it purpose.

We can make a movie out of the Deja Vu cat. I would surmise that fan movies and explanation videos are the only ones that can keep the Matrix fandom alive. We can never rely on the Wachowskis on another sequel or tv show of it, that much is clear.

Dejavu is an error in processing a current thought as a memory. The cat appears when there was a real-time error during the alteration of the matrix that consisted of a line of code (the cat) accidentally entered as a memory instead of a current thought

Deja-Vu is just your brain accidentally releasing memory signals and chemicals that it usually only releases when you think of a strong memory. It does this to remind the brain that it's not a current experience. but in the case of Deja-Vu, it does that on top of a current experience giving you the feeling you're remembering something when you're actually experiencing it.

I thought it was just a background element that by being easily identifiable it can show more easily when a program is being uploaded. But as you show it in the last movie and the comic book it seems it was more important than that.

I always knew cats were bugged.... Joke aside. I often see people misunderstanding the cat, thinking it's just a bug (glitch) as a result of the change, and later iterations of the Matrix franchise got it wrong and misrepresent the cat and give it too much credit. Ridiculously wrong and misunderstood on their behalf. The cat is not a glitched result of the change, it is essentially the carrier-wave for the change. If at all, she was misrepresented in the first movie as she was to easily dismissed as a glitch. But that is understandable as her role is not yet understood by the hero-team.

The single occurrence of deja vu focused on the cat so any future occurence is conveyed better to the audience if you use the same cat. Revolutions even uses the exact same cat sounds/motions as the first film. Resurrections reuses it again for nostalgia.

The cat has absolutely nothing to do with the glitches in the Matrix. Just because Neo saw one upon the first glitch that he experienced, did the cat become a symbol for this concept, and that is why the Analyst had/made/controlled a cat with that name, to purvey nostalgic meaning to Neo in another form of manipulation. Your cat mythology is nice but it has nothing to do with this story aspect.

Some people who experience recurring episodes of intense deja vu may actually be enduring a form of epileptic seizure. It is speculated Phillip Dick had Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. A seizure is basically a lightning storm in the brain. This supernatural experience can be profoundly spiritual. To me, it's multiverse timeline entanglement occurring during time travel. If anyone else here has TLE I'd love to exchange thoughts with you 🍄

My cat is just a cat. However he considers himself to be deserving of all the food, snacks, attention and consideration we can possibly offer him! I call him the boss. Yes he loves me... sometimes considers me to be his mom. But whatever he thinks of me and my wife, he makes our lives so much richer and emotionally satisfying! Thanks to God for that little guy!

I see Déjà vu as much like the Robes of Anorak ala ready player one / ready player two, in that unlike normal admin level credentials, the RoA have unfathered access to all aspects of the system, being able to enter into even the most secure and privet chat rooms unnoticed, or the powers to change any aspect of the code or even shut down the servers at the press of a big red button.

what happens to Neo in the first one isn't Deja Vu, thats just not what that is. Seeing the same thing happen twice is completely different. Deja Vu is seeing one thing and feeling like youve seen the samd scene before some time in the distant past.

Yeah but technically the scene with the cat isn't really deja vu. That's seeing the same event repeat itself immediately after the first. Deja vu is that feeling you've been somewhere before when you haven't, or or recall a conversation or whatever, not for events immediately repeating like a broken record...

I believe to say that the cat isn't a sentient program is presumptuous. The cat must have some self determination sense it can choose to run from the analyst. And there is a difference between sentience and Sapience although I'm not clear on what that difference is exactly.

The idea of accepting the beliefs of the cat's importance in this is like believing and accepting the fact that Christianity is an original concept. To this importance of the mythos which was pretty much dismissed by the creators it's now just fandom rhetoric. Sadly many still try to find the intricacy but they outgrew their own desire to take their own story with the same passion as the original three. Mentioning the catrix was the next logical step not only shocked my inner romantic of these themes but pissed on them and left them for dead a la Jupiter ascending. After that and cloud atlas we should have known the further entries would suffer the same fate.

Mr. Dick most likely had Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. A seizure can begin as an overwhelming shift in awareness saturated in intense deja vu sensation. It can be incredibly spiritual. I have this, I feel it is multiverse timelines intersecting or entangling during time travels🐦 Many historical figures are reported to have had TLE... Joan Of Arc, Dante, Aristotle, DaVinci, Poe, Lewis Carrol. It's also been speculated Van Gogh sliced his ear off while shaving when a bad seizure came over him.
