I've already seen the movie tens of times, and it's so full of little gems! I'm so happy you've decided to delve into it, and your analysis are always incredibly insightful! After you mentioned it, I started listening to the audiobook of 1984 to refresh my memory from highschool days, and holy cow, it is amazing! Can't wait for more from you guys!!

101 can also be seen as a binary number, the 0s and 1s used by computers to store information. 101 is the binary representation of the number 5 (which, in computing, is the sixth number, as counting begins from 0). Some see symbolism in this, as the three films are set in the sixth iteration of the Matrix. Neo is the sixth person to be the One, Zion has been destroyed 5 times before, and so on.

Only people who understand the original trilogy well enough can appreciate the fourth installment EDIT: Yes, this does affect how some may see the movie. And yes, everyone has a right to have their own opinion.

I'm excited for Matrix V

Now this here is the reason why I started watching from the beginning up till now. You always seem to put things into a proper perspective that many like myself have missed. I'm glad you are back 👌👍👊👊👊

The title of matrix 4 can also be expanded upon with a connection to neural networks. The code falling down is the learning phase of each cycle that collects new data, this new data then returns as input data for the next cycle.

I personally still enjoyed this movie like a few others. The system basically capitalized on the events of the first movie to strengthen the simulation therefore burying the truth even deeper. This happens in our everyday lives as well where the media and people capitalize on the truth which divides our society creating a simulation amongst ourselves.

Damn, that George Orwell secret just shocked me! i had no idea about that connection to Neo's room and now, to the modal that was created to trap all the sentients. This movie is so good, some people just focus on the meta commentary and the "Eat shit" references to movie geeks that love anything with explosions, fireworks and they are missing a very creative way to re-tell Matrix universe through this modal. One of the worst parts of the new matrix movie was how characters like bugs quickly mumbled through her lines and it's extremely difficult to hear the important dialogue being spoken

What's funny is this is more entertaining than the actual movie itself.

It is a movie that is suicidal about itself! It does not want to exist. We get it, we feel it, so we don't enjoy it. I'm pleased it has made people realise how epic in scope 2 & 3 were though.

While I did see the flaws in this movie and understand why there were mixed reviews, I must say that I still enjoy this film immensely. Especially the meta-direction it took. The revelation you offered at the end of this video was mind blowing. I hope they make more Matrix and Animatrix stories.

there is no need to call him the "new architect", but the fact that neo is so good at coding that he can create a perfect sim and programs that can evolve to sentience is definitely an important fact that needed acknowledging.

I have had a theory for a little while that the Architect was simply the Anomaly of the previous version of the matrix. Meaning that the Architect (who designed the 6th version of the matrix) that Neo met in the 2nd movie was the Anomaly of the 5th version of the matrix. Had Neo chose to go through the other door instead of saving Trinity, the reloading process would've consisted of the Anomaly integrating his code into the matrix code & using his experience of manipulating the matrix as the basis for a system upgrade a.k.a. revolution.

I really want to like Matrix 4… as I’m a fan of the original trilogy & even the AniMatrix… but man it’s hard. I am however grateful for this channel… thank you!

So thankful for another video!! It’s been awhile but find a lot of purpose and meaning in the analysis this channel digs into. Very enlightening

Can't wait to see if you guys will make me change my opinion about Resurrections. I highly doubt it though. The whole purpose of this movie being a big F U to the industry tells me that Lana forgot about making a good movie and focused too much on her personal beef with the studio.

A lot of people think the first movie is the most profound because its the most accessible, but in reality its just like Baudrillard said "Its surely a movie about the Matrix that the Matrix would make." Its the sequels that really have all the juice. Resurrections was really under appreciated.

And this is why I started watching this channel....

Is it wrong that I still ponder about how much the Matrix made me think deeper about our existence? I still remember trying to beat my brother in a fight using Matrix moves!

If Neo was the Architect, then the Psychiatrist in Matrix Resurrection can be the sacrificed Neo in the third movie of this franchise. As the Psychiatrist can travel similar like the One in 'Bullet time'. But if I analyze the Animatrix episodes, then the Machine AI that later controlled the machine city can be two characters that evolved to take control over a developing reality. Just like humans in real world symbolizes God and Evil's role in one's life.

@4:07 the old code that they are referring to, in the modal, runs in old matrix code as the new one is coded differently as stated later in the movie as a new redesigned matrix.

I've yet to see The Matrix Resurrections, and I don't mind these spoilers, but I've always found it fascinating how these movies played out. The first was a pretty straight forward hero's journey story, the sequels subverted that by basically saying it was all a lie, and now, with the fourth, it ridicules the notion of the reboot. It's too bad the general audience is too programmed to accept this; they think it's perfectly fine to see the same movie over and over again and act like it's different or has "sharing theme" like it's a novel concept. I'm glad there's other people who get it too.

I would agree with that statement as for Neo the savior to Neo the Architect. It is what Neo & Trinity told the Analysts at the end of the film. They mentioned that they wanted to show people how beautiful the world can be. Only an Architect has the power to do such a thing.

Agreed with all your observations. However at the starting, the rising code suggested Resurrections, which literally means to rise, again. It wasnt clear that its portraying a loop. Even though Looped simulations turned out to be the only types of simulations running during the era of Resurrections. The Analyst's Matrix and Neo's Modal are both looped simulations. So I have one question. If the Modal Neo created evolved the Agents to become able to capture Trinity, then why did it not evolve Trinity to kill them all? Also I dont think the Agents were any good with their shooting as well, as they missed bugs many times despite having multiple machine guns, or Neo kept a failsafe to not kill the intruder in the modal. I think the main purpose of the Modal was to evolve Morpheus and nobody else and secondly, also to attract someone from the real world to save him, i.e. in case he is trapped in a simulation. And in each and every loop Trinity was caught, which in turn evolved Morpheus+Smith Program. The program anyway wasn't aware of the reality. However it still begs to question as to why Neo chose this particular incident only to train MorphSmith and why did he make Trinity get caught? It might not have any effect on the story but it must have some philosophical realizations. Thanks for coming back! Suddenly I feel a renewed sense of energy and purpose.

He created the model because he needed to be found it is a phrase that is always said was lost can always be found he also created a panel because he was acting in his original purpose he was the one in the previous movies but he was always the architect just not knowingly because he never knew how many times he was resurrected and each time he was resurrected he lost memory of his self so if he couldn't find himself he created a model for people to help find him the original one so that he can wake up
