Mauler Twins are awesome, they are exactly the right amount of inteligent and cunning to be no pushovers but still getting slapped. They are also no horrible assholes on principal and generally dont go out of their way to kill or seek harm to others. They have no problem doing ti if it benefits them, but they have no intentions to do it without reason. I just love seeing them everytime they are on screen

Yeah, I loved them as a villain concept. Dangerous enough to be threatening. But not so Dangerous that you find yourself wondering why someone hasn't dealt with them permanently

@@sebastianrochefort6763Honestly at the end of the comic series... big old spoiler after this They literally give the Maulers what they wanted: Unlimited funds, access to cutting edge tech, etc. and the Maulers actually REFORM! The problem wasn't the Maulers... the problem was the society and once the society was fixed, the Maulers became not a threat but a benefit.

Wait hold up. Neither of them are actually the ones who knocked Pete out. The Mauler who did that was the one who died to the turret. Pete's talking to the Mauler who didn't do anything to him and his clone. And the only thing either of them remember is being the Mauler who got to eat the chicken pot pie.

@@unlisted1962 It seems like they only share memories when they hook up to that machine and as far as I can tell they only do that when a new clone is made. In any case the Mauler who actually remembers knocking out Pete died almost immediately afterwards so he never had a chance to get on the machine.

Imagine how many billionaires would like to be cloned and mind-copied to their 18-year old body, so the older billionaire can then introduce their new adopted ward to the community? Or if a billionaire funds the mind-copy technology to improve it by being able to save the copied mind into a computer, and change loyalty/skills in the copied personality as desired. Billionaire wants his trophy wife to be 18 again without surgery and more loyal to him? Now he can do so.

On one hand it raises the risks of them escaping, but if only one of them escaped they may make a clone anyways and then there are three of them. If they are separated it may just make it worse. Better to keep it down to two.

It's probably better for them to psychologically too. I guess the jailers have to weigh the pros and cons of the Maulers getting out and destroying *part* of the facility, or risk every part of the facility *between* them. Edit: I guess I'm assuming that they would rescue each other. You only need one to make a clone.

Later on the OTHER makes a clone after _he_ escapes… Then any number of Maulers are captured, ready for the cycle to begin again… Of course the 2 Maulers that are already out could always just have a few pairs of themselves be primed for a timed/remote release anyway, so what you’re describing is something The Mauler Twins could have done whenever they wanted if they could bloody cooperate enough with each other to make it work

@@nolansaylor7710 Three sure, but for how long? Mauler twins don't tend to have long shelf lives. I actually like the idea of there being a psychological profile somewhere that classifies separating the two as cruel and unusual treatment. So the prison is ethically, and constitutionally, obligated to house them where they can see each other.

"I'm a pacifist" also Levy "If you don't help me I'll leave you here, or some place worse" I like that despite his stated good intentions you get the feeling Levy only wanted to make a utopia to stroke his ego. He thinks he's above everyone, even the other versions of himself. He won't use direct violence because his narcissism tells him he is a good person but he's still done a lot of mental gymnastics to justify insane amounts of violence. Like killing thousands of different versions of himself to try and save someone who is durable enough to the point the Maulers couldn't kill him they could only hurt him. Levy didn't hate seeing Invincible getting beat up, he hated losing control of the situation so he blew it all up to remain in control. One way or another Levy was gonna end up a villain

Levy stopped because he saw his grand plan to create multiversal utopia was being built on an army of super villains beating an 18 year old super hero to death, and he had no reason to believe that they couldnt kill him after seeing his brains getting bashed in, what are you talking about? He was losing control of the situation so thats why he decided to... stop his plan from succeeding? How does that make ANY sense? He had an ego so he decided to risk himself and countless versions of himself for one kid who was shown to be awful in infinite other timelines? HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? THIS IS A FAILURE OF A CHARACTER ANALYSIS. DO BETTER. He was a good guy, having an ego doesnt make you automatically evil, youre not smart. Every single super hero in the show is a hero because they have an ego, people with normal views of themselves dont dress up in a costume and fly around changing everything.

With that prison they updated the security so no one could break out but they didn't update their security incase portals opened up in their cells. Kind of reminds me of what happened with ARGUS in The Flash. Barry used a transmogrifier to disguise himself as Lyla and when he couldn't answer the word thing he and Snart beat up the guards. In season 4 when DeVoe broke in to ARGUS they had updated their security measures because of the transmogrifier and put DeVoe through a bunch of security tests whcih he was easily able to pass because he used Ralph's powers to shapeshift into Diggle, he used Melting Points powers to fake his dna print, and he read the guards mind so of course he knew the words thing. I don't know how ARGUS updated their security after that

I got excited because this was on Amazon prime, I completely discontinued, Disney+ and Netflix, because of the absolutely ludicrous amount of commercials, especially for episodes that are 20 minutes long where you get 6 to 9 commercials every few minutes. Levy is a latin originated word that should be pronounced almost exactly how its written as the Latin is an almost phonetic language. /ˈlevi/ (Levis) That being said, most likely the name "Levy" comes from the Hebrew originated name "Levi" which means "Molten together" or "Amalgamated", and used to mean "Unison" or "Lava". Still, should be pronounced Levi. /ˈlevi/ But sadly Lingua Franca of our times is Modern Day American English. as English people kept getting conquered by foreign powers and evolved under heavy influence of other european cultures, the pronunciation of simple Words can be lackluster. That being said, it is still pronounced as how its written: /ˈlevi/ And (May God forgive me for saying this word) Americans, well, speaking American English, also known as Simplified English, makes it somehow much worse. So if you want to sound America, you should pronounce it like /ˈli:vi/ (lee - Vih) or /ˈli:vaı/ (lee - Vai) but if you want to sound proper and civilised human being, and not an unwashed Barb., you should pronounce it like /ˈlevi/ (Leh - Veeh) Edit: Self Censored some words

Yeah I thought the name was supposed to rhyme with Merry. It’s a Hebrew name. It’s the Reiden rule though, it’s whatever that the original creator goes with. Mortal Kombat Reiden is ‘rye-dn’ and Metal Gear Reiden is ‘ray-den’.

Angstrom can't open portals within the same dimension (let's call it dimension A), right? But while in dimension A, he can open up a portal to dimension B, and while in dimension B, he can open up a portal leading to another location inside dimension A? That is kind of the same time thing but only with extra steps.
