My best tip for finishing off loose ends with unspun yarn is to pull it through stitches with a crochet hook and never pull more than an inch apart!

Thank you so much for sharing some of your very limited in person together time with us! It feels so special and very welcoming to be included! Your mothers makes are simply gorgeous. The ending footage was a treat all on its own. Thank you so much for taking the time to film it and you put it together so seamlessly it was like we were there walking in that incredible scenery with you. Please let your parents know how much joy and appreciation their willingness to share themselves and their part if the world brought us.

This lovely episode kept me thinking about my own mother who has been gone now for many years. She would have absolutely loved today's knitting world, and the same for my paternal grandmother. I wish I could bring them into a yarn store today and watch their faces! They were both avid craftswomen who always had some fabric, yarn or textile in their hands, and passed on that passion to me. Loved loved lived this episode with your mom 🤩 I live very far from my own mom and so watching. You two reunite and share in the magic of knitting is just absolutely superb and healing to the home-sick soul (because mom is where the home is whenever I’m far from mine) I may need to rewatch a few times because the giggles you both shared with each other and us are the perfect soundtrack to any gloomy day❤
