You were 100% respectful and didn't step on their property and trespass. I noticed they had a camera on a tree in the front yard. You had every right to film from the sidewalk and weren't breaking any laws. You could have stood there the whole day with a telephoto lens and they could not have done anything.

Never fails to make me scratch my head when people purchase an INFAMOUS stigmatized property and get mad when the curious come and look. That’s what comes with the house! The sidewalk is public and you were respectful and quiet. I’ve seen walking tours and busses trample through there loudly!

Nice video! For your viewers, Mulholland Highway is named after William Mulholland who was in charge of building the Los Angeles Aqueduct that provides the city of L.A. with water from the Owens Valley. The project was completed back in 1913.

I remember when this happened- it was so shocking and sensationalized by the media. The brothers were portrayed as spoiled, cold-blooded killers. Worse, they evidently killed their parents for money. I didn’t have much empathy for them. Years later, I saw an interview that Barbara Walters had done with the brothers and learned about the horrific lives they had in their posh mansion. Jose Menendez subjected his sons to physical, emotional and sexual abuse for years with his wife’s knowledge. The boys each suffered in silence for years not knowing that the other was also being abused by their father. I felt rather guilty for not having more empathy for the brothers after learning about what happened. They did deserve to be punished for their crime, but they actually needed help more than punishment. Justice has been served, they should be free now. Another great video- thank you 😊👍🏼💖

I was also there on a Sunday. Only for about 10 mins. The door was open and I saw a child playing near the door. Looks as though the inside was remodeled. New owners have to understand that this house will never not get visited because of what happened there.

I hope no child goes through the things that the brothers went through, it's more horrific and disturbing knowing it was the very people who were supposed to protect their own, I pray for these brothers, they've had such a bad life 🙏

I got lost on Mulholland drive one night back in the early 70's. We found a party going on where Errol Flynn' house used to be until the cops came to chase everyone out. They did show us how to get off Mulholland and back to town.

Definitely, 100% respectful. You know your boundaries to place, when talking about these fascinating places that I, myself, don’t know about. But heck, sometimes, people don’t get it, that in this day an age, it’s one of those place or channel’s, where we get to interact with you, or comment something ultra Uber best comment that’s not lame or bad saying. That there will be some of us that will support the best way possible.

I was in jail when this happened, the ACLU soon after I was there rated it the worst jail or prison in the US, so you can expect we didn't have contact with outside really. I didn't know about this till later when they were doing documentaries. Thanks for the details.

You know what's crazy to think about how could somebody kill their parents and then make a call like that? I couldn't even imagine

I was in middle school when this happened it was on local and world news. I have seen the tv movie as well. The boys didn't deserve to be locked up. They were by there dad growing up pushed around a lot, they got tired of it and the oldies brother made a plan to end it all. One night while the two of their parents were watching TV they took a rifal/gun blew them both away. Thanks for sharing Mike and Jessica, so sad. Take care you two and Happy Halloween 🎃
