Well she clearly knows she is spoiled and has lived a very luxurious life. Wealthy kids of parents deep down know they are spoiled big time and they know they can do better but don't and decide to live off that wealth and not contributing at all. There are some that do contribute don't get me wrong, but to me it seems like if you spoil a kid young it will be impossible to change their mindset when they are an adult.

A person, budget's "student loans" into their entire life, and they will almost never be able to pay them off. Blessed are the ones who can. I myself graduated with knowledge but it has not helped me land a higher paying job, sufficient enough where I can pay back the loans I took out for the remainder of my life in my discipline of study. I will never be debt free, unless I find a way. To have no loans, means you're either a prodigy, had good connections, wealthy parents that paid for you to go into your discipline of study, or you actually managed to scrimp by and suffer so you didn't have to pay for it. The last option is few and far between, I've only seen it one time in my life at CCAD (art college in Colombus, Ohio). The man I knew there managed to do it, and rejected everything he had around him in order to do so. He always said it was so hard to give up and survive with so little, so he could pay for it himself. Last I had seen him, he was working as a designer of Jewelry for Chico's down in Florida, but that was over 10 years ago. Felicity, here, as young as she is, never had to suffer (in so far as the audience knows) to which makes "The Menu" all that better to watch and pick up on the fallacies of humanity as a whole.

Most Ivy Leagues don’t give merit scholarships. It’s solely need based financial aid. So if she came from two parent household and their income was below 100K, she got a free ride. If it’s from one parent, under 60K, free ride.

Yeah, it just seems to me the reason why people loved this movie was because of how blatantly mean-spirited it is towards anyone of even moderate means. Like, yeah, some of the characters were set up to represent some pretty horrible people in society, but a lot of them really didn't deserve to die, even metaphorically, but all the people raving over this movie act like only Margot deserved to live because she was working class. Totally disgusting.

I heard from another comment that sometimes its better to die in a unique way then to die in a bed at a hospital alone and sad. Maybe we should have some things set up for people irl if they are old and satisfied with their life and want to go out fighting a bear, lion, tiger or some crazy last stunt.
