I've been working on this myself. The DoubleTag Deck has been working. Past the first.. 2 antes it's a waste to skip with 2 double tags.

For those of you wondering, on his 3rd run, the purple seal he chose over immolate (and thus $20) was used twice. While obviously his run was shaped by more factors than just this choice, I think it was a decision that negatively impacted the viability of the run. $20 builds an early economy in ante 2, and since his deck wasn't thinned at the time, he'd have small chances at getting the card to discard. I think it's something that points towards immediate value you can capitalize upon early should be weighed more highly.

Immolate isn't just 20 bucks, either. Destroying 5 cards at that point in the game is often a benefit.

@@avromostlund5166 Yes and no, him playing the checkered deck reduces the amount of benefit he'd get from it, IMO, but whatever suit was hit more he could've potentially focused on more. Definitely on another deck the 5 card removal is almost better than the $20

Jupiter doesnt really help a lot. It does if you get the joker that feeds off planet cards to add x#, but by itself leveling up flush isnt amazing. Its just ok.

@@trenken At the very least it's extra base mult which is what he wants. Also he had $18 and it was only $3 which means it wouldn't have effected his interest. The hand he lost in he played FOUR level 1 flushes and he was really close. I don't have the time to pull out a calculator and do the math but there's a decent chance had those been level 2 flushes he might've made it to the next ante. (the time stamp where he skips the jupiter is 8:47 )

You can get flat mult from planets if you know early on what hands you want to play, and with the checkered deck you know what hands you want to play before the run even starts.

I’ll tell you one thing brother, I’ve been trying to beat orange stake on double tag deck for a while and it’s hard even getting past ante 5. Put some respect on eggs name for getting as far as he did on these runs!!!

Double Tag deck is literally easy mode. Save the double Tag until a later ante and find a negative joker tag. You can have 3-6 extra jokers.

The only time i skip blinds is to roll a boss blind, for spectral packs, for double arcana packs after my deck plan is already made, or for negative jokers. Everything else I sleep.

White stake, campfire is easy S tier Endless it's A tier, no synergies that can get to the Es easily but still good Gold stake it's low A tier because every shop you're gonna get +2x mult if you're lucky and you're gonna lose money in the process when every dollar counts, still if you have the tarot, planet, sale or reroll vouchers it can be a wincon

I had almost the same build as his last run yesterday (I had Blackboard instead of Baseball Card). I was cruising along, cutting Hearts from the deck, and thinking I’d finally get it done. Then the Ante 8 boss had the debuff of No Discards. I had no way re-roll it, and I just kept drawing a zillion Hearts. I lost by 30,000 points. Felt bad, man. 😢

@@MBoy2000_ I'll always shoot for those, but I usually play with the yellow deck, so sometimes if I feel brave I'll go for an extra voucher skip. I'm not sure how powerful it actually is, but an early 1+ discard or extra hand always makes me feel like I'm guaranteed to get to at least ante 4 or 5

7:01 "great opportunity to get your economics to pop." So we skip egg for 1 extra dollar in interest? It more than pays for itself in 2 rounds doesn't it? Or is there something I'm missing? I guess he'd probably want to sell it before the boss blind; total cost is $4 price + $1*round of interest = $6, and it would return $2 base sell value + $3*rounds since purchase = $8, so he missed out on $2. And then the alternative is that he doesn't sell the egg before the boss blind to get even more value on it and that causes him to lose because he doesn't have the +15 mult, so maybe it's not as good as I was thinking. I guess there really is no downside other than encouraging misplays because after 1 round it breaks even: $5 total cost, $5 dollar return, so maybe it can be a good heuristic to always buy egg if you have an empty joker slot? Is money on sale? Idk, does anyone else have any better analysis on this extremely minor play?

I don't wanna tell him how to play, but can someone let him know that Ceremonial dagger just increases it's multiplier and does not take the card to its right if it's Eternal. I got a bit bummed he didn't get that amazing synergy going on his last run and lost.

Ceremonial dagger doesn't kill eternal jokers yes, but ceremonial dagger only increases its mult if does actually kill a joker. So if your dagger is to the left of an eternal joker it does NOT in fact scale
