My girlfriend introduced me this band and the first song I've ever listened was Los Angeles. She had an anxiety attack and suicidal thought after her ex beat her hard and left her back before I met her. I took care of her and her feelings and in return she provide emotional support through my hard time. This song she sent change me so much. She said it would heal me from anxiety and stress and all that bad thoughts. So it did, as I went through shit all past years (pandemic, lost of job, depression etc.) I just felt like The Midnight is the only band that lift spirit and my life and make me feel nostalgia to the "place" I never ever visit.

@@josephmelton4721 i see what you're saying but that's sort of a philosophical declaration isn't it? Just because someone makes a choice doesn't necessarily mean that fate isn't involved, since the concept of fate is a theological and metaphysical one that requires debate and some would argue that our choices are part of that. @@AMSHelmetandAccessoriesOutlet basic human instinct for women is to look for a man that can provide. Food, shelter, security. It may seem to be the "gold digger" mentality, however for men, their driving force is to spread their seed. Its basic psychology. Watch net geo. We are all carbon based life forms and other than being self aware our traits mimic much of an animalistic nature. Just my 2 cents though.

I was born in 1984, so apparently the 90 should have my years of all good memories. But I like more 80s. Looks cooler than 90s depression in my country who passed from socialist state to capitalist. It's Lithuania, so we had bad time, but we became what we are now and I'm proud. I feel more tougher than others. These times was difficult to all of us.

I'm looking forward to going back to California so I can drive around at night and play The Midnight like I used to. There's nothing better than driving with that Pacific wind blowing in your windows in perfect 60-degree temperatures and a full moon lighting up the water. I recommend the stretch between Venice Beach and Point Mugu or between Torrey Pines and Oceanside.
@VCA725 жыл бұрын
I currently live in Oceanside. Those are both great stretches, even north to San Juan Capistrano. The 101 stretch between Ventura and Capitan (including Santa Barbara) isn't bad either.

Fire on the beach Face to the sky The stars dance around like gods in the skies The gold silhoutte You take off your clothes And my heart feels the weight of all I don't know Memories and mountain tops Drunk on Sunset Boulevard With the city of angels singing on Maybe this is just a dream And maybe we are still asleep But I, I will miss you when I'm gone Flickers of the canyon fire Its hands raised like a gospel choir If we live forever, let us live forever tonight Helicopters against moonlight Our holy mother of the midnight And if we live forever, let us live forever tonight Tomorrow we'll go Back to our lives With sand in our skin and sun in our eyes But I know the truth I've seen the signs And I've seen the golden gods in disguise Memories and mountain tops Drunk on Sunset Boulevard With the city of angels singing on Maybe this is just a dream And maybe we are still asleep But I, I will miss you when I'm gone Flickers of the canyon fire Its hands raised like a gospel choir If we live forever, let us live forever tonight Helicopters against moonlight Our holy mother of the midnight And if we live forever, let us live forever tonight Flickers of the canyon fire Its hands raised like a gospel choir If we live forever, let us live forever tonight Helicopters against moonlight Our holy mother of the midnight And if we live forever, let us live forever tonight Flickers of the canyon fire Its hands raised like a gospel choir If we live forever, let us live forever tonight Helicopters against moonlight Our holy mother of the midnight And if we live forever, let us live forever tonight

In early 2019 the girl I’d been dating for 2 years broke up. She was my first “I love you” and moving on felt like losing a part of my soul. A little while later I stopped by her shop one night to talk about some business-related matters, but we carried on the conversation past those. We just sat and talked for hours that perfect night and it ended with our first kiss in so many months. We tried to give it another shot not knowing what would happen. We broke up because of family disapproval and some disagreements that seemed so big then that we couldn’t move past. We didn’t know what would happen or even if we would make it another week when those problems came up again. One of our first dates back together, we watched this movie and the ending hit me like a gut-punch. I knew in that moment beyond a shadow of a doubt that I was going to spend the rest of my life with this beautiful, flawed, and perfect woman. It’s 2023 now and we celebrate the anniversary we got back together like our wedding anniversary or we will when when our first child is born in 2 months.
