My friend showed me this song in his car. We were parked outside some house, had a joint lit and he really wanted to show me this. We took some fat hits and then this started playing. I started holding his hand and we just chilled. He passed away last year and I think about that moment a lot with him and so many others. I'm glad that this song brings back good memories of him. I miss you man.

I don't know what to say. Something about this fills me with nostalgia, happiness, sadness. Life is fleeting. Everything about it is finite. This track reminds me of my youth. It painfully fills my mind with the memories of past. A time where anything was possible. Now I'm older, its hard. It's not easy. Anyways, I'm drunk...and it's 4am and here I am listening to this beautiful track. Let us live forever tonight.

I very often just come here for the comments. It's like we all feel the vibes of this music. I once read a comment under the original video saying: "This song makes me feel in love with someone I don't know yet.". I really felt that. This is the song I listen to during late nights. It gets me every time.

This song is an absolute vibe, and the video was a brilliant way to communicate the feeling behind it. It feels like the end of a chapter closing but the beginning of another just starting and a mixture of sadness, melancholy and excitement. But no regrets.

What's crazy is I saw the Midnight video with La La Land before I saw the actual movie. So after seeing the movie I was greatly saddened the Los Angeles song wasn't in there. haha

I fell in love with a beautiful person around the same time I found this song out. This song layed the outline of our love story. Although I don't belong from around the beaches, our entire love story started and ended right by the beach. She is at a different place now, and so am I... Just like the plot of the movie, our love didn't quite make it, but this song certainly has my heart. Thank you naani, I owe you big time.. Also, I know this isn't the same edit, it's just me spilling it out anyway

Every damn time i listen to this song it brings back a flood of emotions. A mixture of negative and positive, the type of nostalgia that makes me close my eyes hoping that when i open them up again i'm right next to her again. Maybe one day this dream will come true...

Frankly I don't know why this doesn't have more views. The beautiful mix of the highs and lows of the music fits perfectly with the color pallet chosen for each scene. I enjoy this so very much.

@Hector-Thanks for doing this Hector. I really liked the lead at the beginning and the scene flipping sequence at the end. There are likely 100s of thousands of us who are grieving the loss of Nani C.s Artwork. It has created a hole in the Universe (and our playlists) for many of us. This same thing happened back on July 10th, 2019. For 3 days I felt the same thing many of you are feeling now. Loss and a true sense of grief. Nani, if you are reading this, we hope everything is well with you. I hope this was not due to some troll or jerk leaving ignorant comments on your work. 99.99999% of us experience a most unexplained joy watching what you have created. Not just once, but over and over and over again. Like many others we return for various and some unknown reasons. Maybe we are feeling down, maybe we just want to see what is new. Maybe we want to just watch again and relive the awe of your talent of your creation process itself. Maybe we enjoy just reading the comments of the newbies sharing the exact same feelings that we had in our first encounters with your work. Agreed, Naani introduced me to The Midnight and Night Traveler. I would have not gone to see them live if it weren't for him. Definitely a life altering experience all thanks to Naani.

This music video really made La La Land look a lot more like a fun adventure rather than what I expected and I guess that is the beauty of it. Hey that's just the power of editing folks. The highlights really made it all worth watching. I know its too corny to have every pair of main leads get together but there was a great lesson to it. Sometimes former lovers inspire you the most but you could still look at each other fondly from a distance.

Life is so hard these days. All I ever wanted was have a girlfriend who would stay with me forever. But being the not so good looking guy and no sense of basic communications since I have felt so many insecurities about speaking. I guess its impossible for me and now that I have dealt with getting looked over and getting rejected by the same girl 3 times in a row, I've lost all hope trying to get her. Songs like these makes me feel better because I can atleast sink in and just feel the atmosphere of the music and the video. I'm glad that these kind of romantic videos exists so thank you.
