Unwanted and unwelcome thoughts are in reality simply neural pathways memorised in our brain fusing together to create repetitive unhappy and unhelpful thoughts and feelings. Just seeing them for what they truly are instantly defuses them and brings immediate relief 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hey, the overcoming of ego is an essential part of his teachings. At some point it doesnt need to be put aside, because it just has no power anymore. Thats when we are able to see the world clearly and when we are able to forgive.

I recall a time when I was sitting on a cliff looking out to sea. After awhile, I became aware that all there was - all that was observable, was the fact awareness had sight - there was NO awareness of anything else other than sight, no sound, no physical body, no heat or cool, literally like all that was experienced was sight and seeing the sea and its movement. No emotions, no sensations, no smells......no sense of body weight or of a body or time.... just aware of the sea

I wish to add that anyone sharing a bathroom with 8 other people as Eckhart described, can set up a camping toilet and also have running water by using small, USB water pumps. I put one into a gallon of spring water and … I am in the now. Eckhart, so sorry that you had to wait so long to use the bathroom but I suppose it helped with letting go of your body’s demands and being more present. Your explanations make sense to me at this point in my earthly journey.

Really it IS ✨unthinkable... Who knows what is EVERYTHING. I often ask myself and I don't know the answer. Then when I observe a green leaf of a plant that stands straight and proudly seeks the sun or I am moved by an unexpected act of kindness, I see the rays of majestic and secret Consciusness. ✨ Everything is conscious, everything speaks to us. Every story of awakening is unique for each individual. Sounds like your first step towards awakening, was related to feeling gratitude for life itself. Thank you for sharing your experience with the world. I found my own experience very calming but also confusing and scary. I only came across Carl Jung red book much later after my own awakening. I think it’s important that we also talk about the scary side of it, so people don’t fall and stay stuck into a deep psychosis of recurring terror. In that state, they will be diagnosed with schizophrenia. We need more psychologist to have an awakening so they can share their awareness with the world of their experience. I feel like it’s the only way people will understand the whole awakening process, in a more serious manner. People often look at a résumé status before taking any information seriously. And that’s ok too, because we need to get the proper guidance threw the process of awakening. It’s nice to have Eckhart explain the process and highlight the importance of the whole experience. We are lucky to have someone speaking publicly about it so it can help many others who have experienced the same phenomenon. Thank you for your active presence Eckhart.

There is no beginning and no end to consciousness , don't use the brain to understand this, nor does presents begin or end. If your not present is it there, no it is not. At some point in mans life he has to realize the brain is not the tool to figure these things out. That one has to go above or below thinking to figure in a state of consciousness , we are approaching consciousness faster as a whole planet then realized. I mean it is here and has been. Bring calmness and freedom from pain from within you , to others. Positive use of disgust towards all kinds of verbal and physical violence and abuse, including smoking and negative thoughts about yourself, will free your from pain and guilt. You don't have to be a part of what you don't like or don't feel good about. This is the most important and powerful step in your self-protection. It always starts with your own choice.

I wonder where deep sleep fits into all this. At that point, there is no awareness, no story, no consciousness at all. In that sense we die every time we sleep. I sometimes wonder if the self is an illusion, and that awareness in its purest form is divorced entirely from the small waking component involved..

It is intimate and per-SON-al because even though we widen in immense perception and can be 'OF' a 3 in 1 (us-an angel, and God's positive/negative male/female--the flowing light of the Godhead--intimate regeneration moment (same as humans in the mix generating ONLY this happens at the soul level- in the Image of) we retain our sense of a distinct son/daughter relationship - no need to get to the bottom of this rationally because when you are In Love with God and evolving (love backward evol-e) and circling in and with a left-handed chirality and forming and conforming to His Image. . .God will give you wisdom to understand all --- with LOVE comes WISDOM!!!!!! I suggest Bernard of Clairvaux's Song of Songs, Mechthild von Magdeberg;s The Flowing Light of the Godhead, and The Comte de Gabalis - there is only one created understanding which is the Image of the Uncreated and this suffices for all men. And Eckhart's main guru was Joel Goldsmith formerlly St. paul in another time--we do have many lives.

Let me break this down as I see it logically. It's beyond me that someone would take a teacher seriously who presents himself like a frog trying to swallow a fly. What! the mind cant understand awareness. The mind is the element of a person that ENABLES them to be aware of the world and their experiences. Here we go again, a teacher parroting another teacher/guru ie if you cant find an answer, parrot another teachers/guru saying. I say Saying because that all it is. Saying is just a group of words that cant stand alone, so words are just added to justify what a teacher wants to make up and fit. ( chuckle chuckle) There are no sensors to sense " I". You KNOW you are " I" because your mind is the only thing you ever experience and you KNOW that and AWARE of that, therefore the mind understands awareness without limitations.
