The thing is: he is right. 80%-100% of the work of such missiles, espaily in for such dictators, is propaganda and fear. Most of this things will never get blown up. So an angry look is sometimes more important.

But also for them it's more important to hear about tests, to see news around the world seriously considering new threat, etc.

There is the one that are testet and the ones shown. The ones shown should be the dangerous ones and they get not fired. Look as N.Korea or Russia for example. They show the dangerous ones on parades und test the dummy versions. Even N Korea dont test their nuclear weapons in missiles. They test stuff, that could be loadet into missiles and than show the missiles. And even they didnt done general nuclear weapons testing for 6 years. So NO! You dont fire up this particular rocket in a real scenario. Its a propaganda peace.

Yeah, but to his defense, just a round tip would be really bad for a nuclear missile. Too pointy, and it overheats, too round and drag gets higher. Western submarine launched ballistic missiles use a aerospike to "cheat" the air into thinking the whole nose is pointy at supersonic speeds.

The first nuclear bombs are meant to be dropped from a plane, so they are often cylindrical and round. It was only when ICBMs came out that nuclear weapons start to take missile shapes. Even then the sleek missile shape is actually the shape of the ICBM. The bomb inside is typically still very round.

The actual nuclear missiles you can visit in US museums are actually round, not pointy. Aladeen changed his mind AFTER he lived in the US. So it's possible he saw the actual American missiles are round not pointy and then realized his missiles also don't need to be pointy.
