Thank you for showing off these models and their stories! I've seen some of them on your instagram page and your older videos and have been curious about how they came to be. My favorites are the snowy IS-3, Leopold, and your MK 1 male landships. I also liked the tread and tire weathering on your Panzer 38(t).
@Modkits1312 жыл бұрын
Ah, thank you for watching. I’m glad you found some of the backstory of my models interesting and how they came to be. I just wish I hadn’t added on weathering to the Panzer 38(t), but you know that’s how it ended unfortunately.😅😭 Also sorry for the late reply.

The two Shermans and panther are 1/100 kits from the TANKS game. The game was produced by Battlefront miniatures and is now out of production. The game has been taken over by the world of tanks miniatures game. There is also a larger version of the game called Flames of war which is still in production and focuses on company sized action and includes infantry, artillery etc. the rules are not compatible with TANKS or WOT miniatures game.

Yes, thank you for clarifying it for me. I still own the game set and I was not aware of the info you just informed me. Thank you. :)

Amazing work on all of the kits! My personal favourite has to be the trumpeter is7 there’s just something about the piked nose hull armour and the round turret. I’ve also wondered if you will do more videos on paining figures as they are exceptional!
@Modkits1312 жыл бұрын
Thank you. That’s great to hear that you’ve enjoyed my terrible work. Jokes aside, I really appreciate it man. And I couldn’t agree with you more on the IS-7, as it’s a fan favorite. But for figures, I plan on making a short painting video on how a novice such as myself tackles them. Thanks. :-)

@@Modkits131 I’ve got one question for you and it’s will you ever try an airbrush I get that some paints can be quite bad smelling or toxic but I use vallejo paints in them and they work quite well. :)
@Modkits1312 жыл бұрын
Never! Brush Painter for life! No but I do look forward to using an airbrush in the future. I’m just not sure exactly when. But for now I’m still having fun with brush/spray can painting my model’s.

@@Modkits131 that’s what I like to hear! Even though an airbrush is amazing I do sometimes wish to go back to the brush a lot more simpler :)

25:47 i have a 1/35th scale italeri panther in a world of tanks box that i fucked up the running gear/suspension and it sits half-built in my wardrobe or closet depending on where are you from, cheers!
@Modkits1312 жыл бұрын
Ah man. I can easily relate to you as well. I have an unfinished WorldofTanks Tiger I kit sitting in my room in a box. And I completely ruined it by adding too much of the thick Italeri glue that came with it. Now It’s just another test model that sits in the dark corner. 😭

Beautiful models, I dont know if you do it but I would recomend you to first write script and read it couple of times out loud so you get confident then, read it for voice over, anyways I am always looking forward for your models
@Modkits1312 жыл бұрын
Thank you I appreciate the feedback as it helps greatly. As I’m sure you’ve already figured out that I very obviously don’t use a script. But I do retakes of what I was thinking and what I was trying to say, up until I get it right. But again I’m happy you enjoy looking forward to my models. :-)

Superb video, thank you for sharing! Having test models is very good idea. I think in scale model hobby building process fun is more important than satisfaction of final result.

Hello, sorry for the very late reply, but did the 2 shermans and panther at around 2:00 come from the Tanks panther vs. sherman set? They look a lot like some of the Flames of War models I have, and Tanks uses the same models as Battlefront.
@Modkits131 Жыл бұрын
Yes they are indeed! I got the Panther and Shermans from the Panther VS. Sherman set. And it does appear that Flames of War make the same models.
