@@TJackSurvival That would be fantastic! My son's name is Finnegan and know that we will be watching. I feel we have lost so much with our sons in this current environment- if you find in it your time/heart, perhaps consider mentioning him in your dialouge, it's not much, but it will fill his world with wonder. Regardless, we love your channel and I'm hoping to continue his engagement in self reliance. I believe what you are doing is an incredible asset to this society/world. Love you mate. Keep it up. The cool thing about this is how well it works. And the fact that you can put it over a burro so it gives you a very high probability of success.

I believe you could use a different technique to set the trap off instead of having to drag something out from under a rock. Would like to see you actually catch something with this trigger system of dragging it out from under a rock. How does the tension of the spring pole not pull it out from under rock?

Oh there’s a ton of traps that are easier. But this is kinda like conabear trap in that it’s a harvester because it can be put right out side of a den. That’s it’s value.

I think you're missing part of this trap, I have a hard time believing this would work without the counter brackets. A squirrel or rabbit doesn't weigh enough to provide adequate pressure for the scissor to do much of anything.

Only if it picks up the animal. Otherwise you’re right.
