After leaving Missoula, I spent three nights in Butte, Montana. I hadn’t planned on doing any interviews, but the more time I was there, the more sentimental I started to feel about the city. It was the first place where I started making a concerted effort to talk with people who I had no prior connection to.
I wish that I had a few shots of the beautiful faces of the people I met, but an interview just didn't work out. Me in my hotel room at 1am, tired & teary-eyed was the best I could do. I’m not ever going to be able to perfectly represent what happened on this trip--and that’s sort of the spirit of this video.
Cheers to Wade, Kat, and all the other folks who took me under their wing for a night.
