@maxhudotdevАй бұрын
I think Endeavour is pretty good, it's like arch installer, and it's better than manjaro. I switched to normal arch because it's more minimal since it doesn't have any of the pre-installed endeavour programs. Using Endeavour is a good introduction to arch since it prevents you from dealing with the kind of tricky stuff of arch initially like the installation process, configuring sudo, getting dual booting to work, getting sound to work, setting up xorg/wayland, wifi etc... Overall, I prefer arch but Endeavour is a good start if you want to use arch without spending a bunch time setting it up

Let me give you a trivial example - Swedish warship Vasa. The ship did not sail because the engineers who built it used different units of measurement. If they had the same standard, this would not have happened. It’s stupid to boast about this when this is the most obvious problem of Linux.

How can you say something is 'freedom' if you have to follow a standard? My comment still stands. You are defending the consumer who wants stability. Giving example of ships is stupid. A standard is a way to make something work as expected for 99% scenerio which is exactly what a PAYING consumer wants. This allows people like me to make what we want.
