Episode links below! This episode of The Cabin is a bit of a stunner and might be the most shocking episode in the entire series. It has all the tension of an Alfred Hitchcock episode and then deals with the aftermath of the nightmarish event that occurred. Gunsmoke was the longest running western in TV history and won a number of Emmys during its historic run, along with many other awards.

I was born in1957, so you can say I was raised by television. I love your channel; it brings back some great memories. The first TV program I can remember Loving was Highway Patrol, and Sea Hunt, Sky King, and of course all the other cartoons, reruns, gameshows, soap operas, ALL of it! I think when I die, and my life is flashing before me, it will have commercials.

I have fond memories of Claude Atkins in "MOVING ON", a series about 18 wheelers and truckers.

When you mentioned that Claude Akins could come across Andy Griffith like, then turn into a psychopath in a split second. Andy Griffith was in a movie Gramps from 1995 that showed him playing a psychopathic grandfather. Andy Griffinth was pretty scary in that role.

I remember the show and enjoyed watching it. It was a bummer learning it was cancelled. BTW, Imogene Coca also had a series called Grindl where she was a temp who took on a bunch of jobs that got her into wacky situations. Not sure if it was before or after It’s About Time. Another 60s series that few people remember was The Pruitt of Southampton, starring Phyllis Diller, about a wealthy family that goes broke but pretends they are still wealthy.

I also grew up with the last few seasons of Gunsmoke and recently caught the b&w episodes on metv and found those episodes better. Also, Gunsmoke ended in '75.

I agree. Never really saw those first 6 seasons of half hour B & W episodes until recently and I thought they were superior to the later seasons.
