I don't get it. How can you find reading the most difficult because of time management when listening is even more time bound? You have to read the questions, comprehend them and keep in memory just over the course of few seconds

Writing is definitely the most difficult and exhausting one: grammar, typos, sentences building, essay structure, etc.. several details are involved with it, beyond that, as the third part of the session, candidates are overall a bit fatigued.

I think it's the listening followed by the reading. In the former, you need to be focused all the time and be able to scan the questions quickly while listening, which is not a skill everyone can master. In the latter, you need to manage your time effectively and have a good technique in skimming and scanning.

I find the reading module is the most challenging one amongst the others. It is obvious to be puzzled which lead me to make mistakes.

I agree. For me, Writing is the most difficult part of IELTS, specially the Task 2. I find it hard to further explain my idea since usually you have to have better understanding of or personal experience about the topic. Next is Listening. Then Speaking. The easiest for me is Reading.

Reading is pretty much impossible to complete under 60 minutes mainly cuz not only the passages are long but also questions sometimes are complicated so it requires more time to be accurate. you need to learn some strategies to find key points for the answers in order to finish it in time. Writing can easily be done under 60 minutes if you study enough to be able to organize the keypoints in task 1. Task 2 is probably considered hard bcuz of the lack of time. If you try to be efficient in task 1, task 2 should be no problem.

Speaking, because unfortunately, that section is adaptive. If I speak well in the first two/three questions, the examiner would ask difficult (= abstract) questions :(

I believe that the hardships of the exams are up to the testtakers as people can have different perspectives on certain topics.Somebody might have difficulty in speaking or some may find listening hard .....✨💫

Writing for sure. 98% of us are stuck at either 6.5 or 7 in these sections. Other sections can be improved through mere practice.

WRITING! it’s the one part where native speakers have difficulties to score high. Mostly because IELTS assess not just your vocabulary, spelling, and grammar skills. Check out the IELTS criteria for writing and you understand the complexity. The other issue that makes writing more difficult: your time management! Very likely you will spend too much time on part 1. don’t try to make that letter perfect. It counts way less. Ensure you have enough time for part 2. And train the structure!
