@@penpencilpaint problem with graph 1000 pro and CS is its not retractable tip which is weird for pencil at that price, though a cheaper version of it (PG350 aka PG metal) is available at third the price

Hi there, I believe some limited editions comes in metal and some are in plastic Every time is different, but i think most of them are in plastic usually just color play. graph 1000 only comes in black body, matte. graph 1000 cs is in glossy finish Yes, the tip and grip is made out of metal

Go for graph 1000, that's lighter and believe me that's way more sterdy than the graphgear 1000 even though it's plastic.

sorry i can not give a clear answer since i never had a chance to use 500. but i can tell you one thing for sure there are tons of people uses graph1000 in my country. : )

@@penpencilpaint I've noticed that! Ive notice that on most Asian countries, artists choose the Graph 1000. One reason is, that we can't find easily that model in Europe, for example in my country it was never been sold to any shop. I can only found te Gpraph 1000, on the Cult Pens shop in England! I always seek for the best tools I can get for either my job, or my hobby. Your knowledge on the subject of your channel, is spot on! I follow a ton of other channels, so I can judge if you know much or not, as also if you make good videos or not! Never change anything, you're in the right path, both as a character and as a video creator! By the way, we use the word "Goldhand" a lot in Greece. hi there! first, if i talk about kurutoga 1. kurutoga engine : the lead rotates as you use so it keeps sharp point. but you do have to press it quite firmly? so the engine can turn. 2. alpha gel : for short writing session- perfect (long writing…. not sure) 3. you can switch on and off the engine, so when you write, you turn it off, when u doodle, u turn it on. 4. since the lead rotates, there is a big wiggle on lead pipe area, meaning less stability. i dont know the use of your future buying, so i just wrote the pros and cons of kurutoga. hope it helps 😅 thanks for watching

@@penpencilpaint Thank you very much! I was intrigued by the rotating mechanism of kuru toga, and I did intend to buy a pencil for drawing. I took into account that I am quite heavy handed when using a pencil. Ultimately, I decided to go with the alpha gel. It was a tough decision, but I hope it's worth it!

hi there, best out of two would be 171, graph 1000 is just a basic. (very good basic) it is just up to u how much you want to spend on. : ))) if u have a budget, kaweco special is also one option. have a nice day~
