I will never forget the first time I watched that episode. I was working as an armored courier at the time. I was riding in the back of the truck on our way back to the office to offload when this episode came up in my watch queue. I heard beforehand that Ep. 10 was an emotional rollercoaster so I did try to brace myself. by the end of the episode, my driver saw me bursting into tears and asked me if I was okay. I had to fight to get my composure back to tell him I was watching a sad show. I'll never forget that day.

“Angel Beats” and “Serial Experiments Lain” shattered me in different ways and that’s just off the dome. If I took the time to think it out there was MANY that made me feel some thangs lol 😂

Violet Evergarden is what brought me to Anime. The physical scars she carries throughout the series are as much symbolic of her emotional pain. The journey she takes and all those who she helps being to express what they feel It will always be my favorite It does remind me a lot of Frieren for that journey of healing

Yep , destroyed me as well ... i was tough until I realized the letters were for her... then I had a pressure in my neck and chest, and a river of tears from my eyes Im not very animated when I cry , Im pretty much the same but with tears and snot coming out of my face Violet and Clannad afterstory got me really bad Btw I also feel the same way about Kurumi-chan...

It's one of my first tear jerker anime including the likes of beyond the boundary, 5 centimetres per second, your lie in April etc. Violet Evergarden was beautiful❤.

I remember when I first watched this episode, It was with a friend and he said it was 1 that could brake me. At that time I already saw some messed up anime so I went in prepared and came out crying. Fun fact: after watching that episode me and the friend didn't talk to eachother for a few weeks

I saw the first minute of this video, paused, sat down and started watching violet evergreen and at episode 10 I was just waiting and when I put together what was about to happen, I wasn't sure if I was ready. I wasn't.... the second the letters were read, I lost it. then I lost it when she broke down and I got close again while watching the rest of your video. What did that episode do to me?!

For me it's the anime Plastic Memories. From the first episode I knew what was going to happen. That still didn't prepare me for the ending. I love this show but tell every one I recommend it to, have plenty of tissues.
