Scariest thing about Homelander is the fact that there is no impressing him. You can literally treat him like the god you're supposed to treat him as and he'd still laser you out of his insecurities. While I'm unsure whether this was a kill or not, Blindspot revered Homelander, just like anyone would, and what did that lead up to? Homelander rupturing his eardrums, all because he was disabled, but also to keep his fragile sense of control.

Honestly, I think there is only one death it was more sad instead of frightening. Black Noir's death. Homelander saw him as his only genuine friend and felt deeply hurt realizing he lied to him for years about his origins, you can see the pain he has on his face when he kills Noir

Homelander - Superman A-Train - Flash Starlight - Wonder Woman The Deep - Aquaman Black Noir - Batman The Deep - Aquaman Soldier Boy - Captain America Blindspot - Daredevil The Seven - Justice League Edgar - Amanda Waller Homelander has elements of Peacemaker (patriotism), A-Train has elements of CA (the A logo), etc.

I'm not a fan of hero and villain movies. The thing is that this series depicts perfectly what would happen exactly, if a person or persons had super powers, and i mean super powers, from the kind that you cannot put them down, with a bullet , .50cal, missile, F-16, A-10, or tank sabot. Total control, fear and dictatorship! There is now other way around.

When SB and Butcher first fought HL, SB recently had used his blast which weakened him after, and he held his own against HL for a while. Meanwhile, Butcher was pretty much at a stalemate with HL. Then when they all fought in the tower, SB made easy work of Billy who was basically as strong as HL. This is because SB hadn't used his blast yet so he wasn't weakened. He also had better combat skills and a shield. I think SB is as strong and as durable as HL if not more.

Xinan..one of the main characters in HK comic series Tiger Shark 3 rd Gen back in 1990s has the same personality as Homelander. Unlike Homelander who was born with super powers, Xinan got his through effort, loss, disappointments and training. In the end he feel that he has earned the right to be a god and to dictate arbitrarily who should or shouldn’t die.
