If there was still a top tier big server out there I'd have a sliver of hope that there could be any sort of excitement on the grass. But there isn't. All top 20 players are baseliners first and foremost and Novak is the king of all baseliners.

@@colethomas903 Carlos has already cemented his status of a good clay player, but look at his results this and last year on other surfaces. Not really that good. Medvedev has managed to stop Novak only on USO if I'm not mistaken, and Nole was basically beating himself in that match with the heaps of pressure he was under. Being in that situation once again, if he can, I believe he will come into it with a calm head.

Alcaraz hasn't beaten Novak in a slam, and he doesn't know how to stretch to stop cramping, a basic error. Medvedev has beaten Novak at the US Open final, and Zverev beat him at the olympics prior.

I don't know how anyone could like him, he has only one redeeming feature, he doesn't grunt.
