Yes me too! That would be awful for a non puzzler to have discovered this! I’m gutted, but as you say, fingers crossed they’ve just been dumped in one of the other boxes! X

That would have been my guess too. But it turns out I am just silly and mislaid the pieces in my puzzle room - it’s now complete thank goodness 😅

I know, it’s so sad. I think some shops check and others just chuck them on the shelves. But shame on the donator for even handing that one over! Unless there was an accident in the shop - but even then why would they put it on the shelf? It’s a mystery! 🤷‍♀️

Well, I was determined, although with that many missing, it really became a struggle to “finish” it. I wanted to know how many were missing. It did become quite soul destroying after a while though, knowing that so many weren’t there as I was building it. Your guess is the most accurate so far.

I know, someone really made a bad decision somewhere along the line for that one to end up on a thrift store shelf! Your guess is too low, think higher. I will reveal the amount on my community tab soon 😊

I know. Some charity shops check and others don’t I guess 😩 I can only hold on to a thin hope that one of the other 4 has them mixed in with them 🤞of all the Heyes in this haul, it had to be the Mordillo - literally the most expensive one to replace. The Loups I can get hold of to replace them, but the Mordillo goes for astronomical amounts!! Anyway, Marino Delano - I’ve seen some of his, they are also very cool. I could easily fall into a rabbit hole collecting all of these awesome cartoon, triangle box Heye puzzles! 😆

Thank the Gods you found them😂. It’s a great image as indeed they all are by this artist 👍. Must ‘Thank you’ once again for the lamp recommendation as we are attempting our first 1500 piece puzzle by Clementoni called The Pirate Ship. We went for artwork instead of thinking how the heck we are going to do this ha!

Well, it turns out it didn’t - I’m not sure if you saw my follow up short on this, but it turns out the pieces were in a box in my puzzle room and I mislaid them 🤪 The puzzle is complete 😍
