As far as I'm aware, it's a "power move" thing. Many of them would use it to show that these people aren't untouchable, or for some level of personal entertainment that only the Swatter enjoys. I make no excuses for these people, and agree that it's absolutely horrible.

Because of how powerful it is. SWAT teams are trained to treat every call as deathly serious. At the time people were coming up with it, they couldn't conceive that they would be weaponized by someone to harass and possibly kill someone else. And they largely still have the same attitude. There are a fair amount of them that have gotten caught, but there are ways to make the calls untraceable if the swatter knows what they're doing.

9:49 I was in that chat watching that girl drunk drive, was sickening! She didn’t care and it’s a miracle she didn’t hit anyone. But, those fellow chatters were all over it and got her off the street in record time! She wasn’t just drunk, she was streaming and paying more attention to her chat than the road! People were pleading with her to pull over, call a cab, call a friend, anything and she would get indignant saying she does this all the time, and is better drunk driving than most people sober driving, smh. She wasn’t. She was all over the road, hit that sign, was falling asleep. Terrifying to witness, I remember praying she didn’t hurt anyone but herself. Her punishment wasn’t nearly strong enough. I had just lost a friend to a drunk driver about 2 years before this happened. My friend was hit head on around 5pm as she was on her way home from work. She was hit about 2 minutes from my front door. We heard the sirens and all, but had no idea it was her. Our moms were lifelong friends from preschool age and I knew her from when we were in kindergarten ages. We just lost her mom 3 years ago to breast cancer. One notable thing, my friend worked traffic controls and landing planes at our local, very small airport. She landed Harrison Ford dozens of times! He regularly flew alone to our area to visit friends that owned a restaurant. He sent a beautiful flower display and lovely card for her funeral. He also called her mom to give condolences. Very admirable. The world lost a great person when she died.

What i would add i suppose is that whilst in the past the reckless, dangerous things people did for attention ( clout ) might have inadvertantly had a positive impact on something or other ( a place or thing discovered, something thought not possible to accomplish being seen to be accomplished etc ). @@adenneese4302 I'll never be desperate enough to make a fool of myself for money. I see these streamers the same as I see onlyfans girls: Sell their dignity for cash.

@@jorami4838 You saying only fans workers are selling their dignity tells me exactly what kind of person you are. Especially saying Only Fans "girls" like there aren't males working only fans too. Sex work doesn't mean you have a lack of self respect or "dignity". That's a ridiculous incel concept. Go touch some grass, because you definitely aren't touching anybody's genitalia except your own.

I loathed the guy in the first story for what he did and what he said, but then hearing he apparently learned his lesson and got his life together, calling his own actions reckless and immature and stopping the creation of content, I regained respect for him. We all make mistakes and the most important thing is to learn from them. Him not creating more content probably means he is protecting himself from getting tempted to make the same mistake again. I hope he can keep this up. People need to realize it is better to be average than to be famous for the wrong reasons.

Man, I live in Lakeland and I really think they let her off way too easy. She was not only absolutely plastered but also on her phone the entire time. Her not killing someone was nothing short of a miracle. In the state she was in you could have put her into her own front yard, spun her around three times and told her to make her way home she still would've gotten lost and taken out a mailbox or two.

This fst, black, nerdy, Karen doxxed my apartment once (im a black woman too) she stopped me once while i was parking in my stall, complaining of my speeding (she was right) but my ego told me to curse her out and threaten to beat her 350 lb a$$. Next day my apartment was swarmed with fire/ambulance, it was storming and they looked stressed out! Refuse to believe me that i was ok, and frantically knocked on neighbors doors! Took me above an hour of shock and confusion after they left to figure it out! Week later, caught her walking down the street, rode up to her (she was so scared) im hood, shes a nerd, i actually apologized, while laughing a little and told her i understood, then drove away. The old me would have tried to run her over, but she would have come up with something else (so would i) the end
