Update: I received the TMX Pro like 2 days after this comment (Prime yay) and I really love it. I've been playing Dirt Rally 2 and it's working great! The pedals do slide a good bit on carpet so I went ahead and got a wheel stand as well. Good stuff!

why us the tmx better?

@@jussosa the TMX pro feels and looks less like a toy wheel imo. Also I felt the FFB was a little more direkt as far as I could tell. Right now I have the ts-xw wheel, which is a great upgrade. Although right now the Fanatec DD is probably better.

@@phrg8332 the wheel is the same in the tmx set, it's the pedal set that makes the difference in the pro version. Ofcourse it all depends how much you can afford to invest. If you want to take it next level go for load cell pedals.

I know I'm late to the party lol, obv not sure if u found ur answer elsewhere ( in the past 11 months 😂) but as of a week ago I own this wheel and wanted to clarify for u.. I'm assuming by auto center ur referring to the wheel spinning back in place after turning it correct? I gravitated toward this question because I struggled with this myself my first few play- through's with this wheel. My first experience with the TMX was on Forza Horizon 5 ( default settings are garbage and require major tweaking) and the FFB was more than sufficent on default wheel Settings, it was overpowering so I turned it way down within seconds of playing the game. As I was driving and turning, I noticed the wheel wasn't spinning back in place, I was completely manually pretty much dragging the wheel back in place after a sharp turn and it was incredibly annoying. I was very disappointed and assumed at 1st I had just gotten a raw deal and a sub-standard wheel. As it turns out... The FFB level DIRECTLY influences the auto centering feature. The higher ur FFB the harder and faster ur wheel spins back in place like a real vehicle.Once I discovered this my entire opinion about the wheel changed, it literally improved the experience by a 1000%. I now keep the FFB setting at .6 and that is perfect for me. A lot of ppl will tell u that they play with at atleast 1.1 and to each their own. Gotta tell u tho, the FFB in this wheel is powerful, never tried another wheel I'm a rookie lol so can't compare from personal experience, but I'm telling u: it's a force of nature...also if u have a wheel now ( this wheel or whatever) and happen to play FH5 I would be happy to give u my wheel setting layout. Everyone has their own tampering preferences, but I promise u I have a phenomenal general layout that u can tweak to ur taste afterward that will make the car handle much smoother and allow u to actually love the game... @@Jax-Armor_X Thank you so much, yes the more ffb you have the faster that wheel comes back to the center. I have Fanatec ecosystem. for the past 5 days. I bought everything on black friday, wheel , motor, pedals and shifter.

@@michaeltorode8689 is it compatible with shifters and handbrakes? And do you need to do a bunch of pc crap to change the amount of degrees it turns?

@@asianboivr6498 no, simple software you can add a handbrake and shifter yes, you can also change the wheel etc

@@milliyen7959 changing the wheel is a big hassle and if your on console you either buy a button box or you make a hole in the back and ziptie it to your stand because well you need to sign in to use it its a big hassle but worth it my assetto corsa control got so much better snd you cant use padels unless you buy a well that has a 6 pin connecter

The pedals can be hard mounted but the wheel only works with the clamp which will come in the box

on amazon you can get the pro used for $20 dollars more and it come with a 3 pedal set

i got the pro since the pedals were added on for $100 ,but if i got those pedals by themselves they would be 200

Tmx pro its worth the extra 50$ for the better pedals

On amazon you can get it for 250$

bought the tmx for 145€ new with the black friday, unfortunately the g920/29 still sits on 260/280€ new

I own both and I like the g920 better than my tmx. It just feels so much better. Its build quality is so much better(leather wheel) but the tmx is awesome too

@@robertthabassheadjacobson4968 which brake pedal is the best. I hear the brake pedal on the G920 is too hard to push down.

@@Paula-pi3bc you have to take out the little rubber piece in the brake(which I did right away) and then it works alot better because yes it is way too hard to push down. It's easy to take apart takes about 10 minutes. Once that is done the pedals on the logitech are better.

you can. Technically. There's adapters for it and there's tutorials. Be prepared to get your hands dirty though, as it requires electronics to be unplugged and replugged.
