For anyone who hasn't seen a clean version of a 2g dsm let alone someone who has been in or driven a clean 2g dsm will understand why people who have these cars love them and put so much time money and effort into them. Uniquely special. I love mine to this day

Man i remember my 1g Talon TSI AWD, forged engine, FP3065 turbo, that thing was proper quick, only stock things on it was body (i like the sleeper look) i love DSM, now as 40+ dad of 3 my priorities have changed, but love for it will never go away. Eclipse is timeless and hugely underrated.

dam, I have a 97 GST back in 2011, traded my 96 GS plus cash for it. Drove all the way to Dallas TX from Mississippi to get it during a snow storm with 3inch of ice on the road going through Tyler TX. Man that car was worth all the tribulations to get it. Only had it for about 4 months before I hit a wall on my way home from work and a car pulled in front of me no turn signals and forced me to avoid them and the rest was history. Totaled it, man i miss that car. Getting an Evo soon, I thinks its time I return to Mitsubishi and get my dream car as well. This guy reminds me of myself

@@MiguelDsm It’s good as a starter car and amazing as a daily! Quick Tip: Do not put and exhaust over 2.5inches on an RS Eclipse. Or they sound like Hondas with fart can.

That or a full exhaust from the headers back. n/a eclipses sound fine with just a 2.5” catback or muffler delete imo

@@MiguelDsm Hello Miguel, I love your channel, congratulations for sharing about eclipses, I'm from Brazil, here we only found eclipses with a 4g63t engine, this car was privately imported to Brazil, I found a very rare example with a 420a engine, but here in Brazil you can't find parts for this engine, you can mention the advantages of the 420a mechanics, here in Brazil the 4g63t has a reputation for being a not durable engine,

Awesome build love the back story on it all too that blue looks great and damn that sharpie was straight up detailed dude. Only couple weeks away from dropping the 98 420a 5spd combo in my 97 auto GS it's silver and I've been eyeing that blue and if not then a nice gun metal grey. Yall's builds and videos have helped alot along the way keep it up!!!

I miss my 96 gs. I used to race mine up and down the 110 freeway after work. My car was slow lol but kept up with the civics and integras lol. Im definitely gonna buy another one.

LOVE YA BUILD COBBER!!!!!!!!!!!! Im stuck in the 80-90s JDM Snap, Crackle, Pop mother fucking big BANG(s)!!! Most of the time I only see the Evo's getting the treatment, this is the 2nd Bishi build Iv seen this week that aint NO EVO!!! I have a roller (AE92R) that will red line at 9k, she's had a bit of work dun to her under the front but its the back end that gives me wet dreams. Straight stainless 3 inch pipe, no cat. I live in a small block of units and all my fellow neighbours love my car, as most days when Im leaving for work at 0500h they are all hanging out there windows waving at me. Or at least thats how I see it. You never asked me about my car but I sure as hell had fun telling you about her. Her name is Esme Watson and she goes like stink but Id eat the Sweetcorn right out of your cars tail pipe given half a chance!!!!! All the best from Western Australia Shamesville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I nearly bought a entire 2G GSX rear subframe last night with everything attached to it turning my RS into a awd with a Evo 8 engine swap until I saw your video saying your back up lights,turn signals,hazards didn't work after merging the 420A harness to a Evo harness. I was like nope I need those around here lol
