The MOST UNDERRATED Vans Skate Shoe?

2 ай бұрынThese are the Vans Skate Sport's and these could be the MOST UNDERRATED skate shoe that Vans makes!
They were part of the Vans Pro range that were upgraded to the Vans Skate range along side the Old Skool's, Authentic's, Era's and Slip On's but for some reason these shoes are never talked about and I never see anyone wearing them 🤔
In this video I test these shoes out to see if the are just as good as the rest of the Skate Classics range and find out if they are the most underrated skate shoe from Vans or not

I really dig how these have less rubber than the usual skate classics from Vans, usually like double wrapped super thick foxing tape either extra bumper on the toe, makes it so hard to get used to, they be launching my tricks. I’ve never seen these in stock as the skate version

Maybe that's why the have the rubber coming up on the side a little higher since it isn't double wrapped? 🤔

had these in 97 from a sale at endless grind. $5. they were definitely a few years old and hadn't sold because shoes were getting bulkier at the time. they skated fine.

The Vans Lizzies are the best I've ever skated by far. Picked up 2 pairs for $85 on sale cos boys wont skate a girls shoe.

Yeah I can’t really find any either and all of the ones I do find are on sale so maybe they have discontinued the skate version of these 🤔

@LeonPaxton it's possible! I've been looking into finding the Era classic skate version and those are super hard to find too. There is one color in mono off color white. Or you can customize a pair but that's expensive too 😅

This is my favourite skate shoe I ever had, problem is I think they stopped making the Skate version of the shoe. Can´t find it anywhere at the moment... Only the non-skate version without the popcush insoles

Hey Leon, I am a tall, bigger dude as well. I ride the Powell Peralta Flight decks. Have you ever snapped any of those 10" Egg boards? ('Ever Crack an Egg). Sorry for the Dad joke. I am in Canada. When its cold some of the standard boards get brittle.

Yeah dude, I’m starting to think this shoe has been discontinued! The only skate versions I can find are on sale and random sizes that are left over and they have only been releasing new colour ways of the standard version of these shoes 🤔

Sadly, these are "not meant" to be skated, as these are part of the classic waveline. When we had them on the skate wall with proper skateboarding materials, nobody bought them, but I managed to buy a pair and the difference is astounding (it didn't had the hype it has now).

Yeah the originals weren't made for skating but upgrading these to a skate version was a great idea!

@@LeonPaxton the skateboarding version came out like two years ago. These classic models dropped mid season last year and they've been releasing in different colors since, alongside the Lowland. No skateboarding models have dropped since.

i dont understand what shoe this is. on the vans site the "sk8-sport low" has a completely different design all together. while the shoe labeled as just "sport low" is the one you have in the video
